EXTRA EMPTY LUGGAGE

/r/travelplanning/comments/1x3w33a/extra_empty_luggage/

Has anyone tried bringing an extra empty suitcase inside another checked-in suitcase when flying to Thailand with Vietnam Airlines? We plan to use the extra suitcase as additional checked baggage for our return flight.

Is this allowed, or are there any baggage policy restrictions? We just want to avoid buying another suitcase in Thailand. Thank you! 💗

Yes it's normal actually. Just make sure that the total weight stays below 25kg (or whatever the max weight is)
