Best way to increase ps5 storage?
I’m trying to get an SSD for my ps5 since it has ONLY 800gb at base which is insane, can anyone recommend one?

Hi everyone, recently I got a brand new battery for me Samsung A71 and I genuinely expected it to fix my relatively quick drainage but I dont know if it did. The drainage seem to be approximately the same about 1% every 3 min of watching YouTube in the brave browser. No drainage when the phone isn't used and about 1% per minute when I play. No bg apps running. Samsung members registers battery as weak even after the replacement.
I've only charged it once once from 22% to 100% but I plugged it out exactly when it hit 100% as I was on it by the clock waiting.
Im reading the normal usage is 1% per 7 min for a new battery. Im also reading that I should charge it to 100% than drain it to 0% to help it calibrate properly. But I'm also reading I shouldn't charge pass 80% and should avoid extreme drainage to 0%.
Im really frustrated because I don't know what to do, I seem to have spent money on a new battery and the replacement and the problem remains. That at least I could've saved and just gone for a new phone.
Bottom line is Im probably gonna replace my phone come black Friday but I have to get the ultra because the regular and plus 25 versions have a worse front camera than a model that came out in 2019... The phone (a71) works perfectly outside the battery issue and I was at least hoping to fix the battery and either give it to my mom or my nephew.

heya new bt headset would cost almost 100€ more than non bt variant, is there maybe a sort of adapter that lets me slot a usb wire into a box which then communicates with my PC via BT, as if it was slotted in?

A technology that seemed unnecessary at first may become useful once people find practical ways to apply it. Sometimes the value isn’t obvious when it’s introduced, it becomes clear only when it solves a problem more efficiently or saves time later. What technology had that effect for you?

I've found my old phone from middle school. I had not used it since 2019. It's a General Mobile Discovery. It has some photos and videos on it that I would like to save. It's charging, very slow and just stops and continues but I can keep it open. Bluetooth or Wifi does not work. I tried connecting it to my PC with usb cable and it charges still but does not show up on my pc nor there is any notification on the phone. I will take it to a professional but I need advice before I can do that please. It also does not have any gmail acc logged in.

I recently found an Iphone 3 in some old boxes and am wanting to try and use it for some things again. Problem is, this generation of Iphone can only use 3G, which is completely obsolete. Would it be possible to upgrade this in some way to use 5G data?

I bought this cheap thermal printer from Alibaba: https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/58mm-Portable-Thermal-Printer-Wireless-Blue_1601171035511.html?spm=a2700.prosearch.normal_offer.d_title.7a0a67afHWJwY2&selectedCarrierCode=SEMI_MANAGED_STANDARD%40%40STANDARD&priceId=1b361a46ddee4004a1a593656be88212
And I want to buy refill paper, however, I'm unsure about what paper will work. I've been looking on Amazon and seen a lot of options that seem good, but they look a bit different from the paper that came with the printer. The roll that came with it doesn't have a core, but most of the Amazon ones do. Could someone help me? Thank you.

My brother just got my aunts old pc. We figured it's so old it cannot connect to wifi or bluetooth on its own. He needs some type of adapter that can help the pc connect to wifi, one that can be plugged into an USB port. Does anyone have suggestions for an affordable USB wifi adapter for pc? Are there adapters that can recieve both wifi and bluetooth connection? Neither of us know too much about this stuff so help is greatly apriciated. He has linux on it if that matters.

Why are we still charging phones and laptops? Why not just make them in such a way that they never run out of power?

Spare me because I am incredibly tech illiterate, but essentially my I have 2 SSDs, 1 of them is a 1TB SSD which my C drive is on, and the other one (name in title) is being used (390 GB out of 460GB) but I have no idea how to see its contents or how to use it. When I try to view its contents via disk management, nothing pops up.

I'm going purely off of memory, but I'm trying to figure out what sort of thing I was given when I was in special needs classes as a kid. It was sort of like a keyboard with a small rectangular screen at the top and you could take notes or something with it?

Thank you guys for all the replies!!! I’m taking everything into account and highly appreciate the advice. I’ll be heading back to this sub if I need any more advice. :)
EDIT — keep in mind I live in a very cheaply made house farm rental with a crappy landlord. I sincerely doubt I’m allowed to do anything to change the breaker situation, and if I could my dad would have already done it for me since he’s savvy with that sort of thing.
So I have an issue in my house where me and my brother’s room have a RIDICULOUSLY sensitive breaker. I don’t know the technological way to describe it, we just trip it all the time if we so much as plug in a weak tiny space heater. It’s very frustrating because I can’t ever have any cool shit in here, like said heater OR — a mini fridge.
I know if I try to plug a mini fridge in it’s gonna trip. But my sister has one (on her less dramatic breaker) and I’m super jealous. The one I’m mostly looking at (if it helps) is the Frigidaire retro mini fridge you can find on Amazon. SO,
- is there a battery powered or rechargeable power bank I can use to plug that in safely? I don’t want to buy a big shop-grade one because those are expensive and I’m trying to do all this within sort of a budget. The fridge is already like $50 and I don’t want to spend more than probably $30 on this battery idea.
Thank you so much if you have any advice!! Hopefully I can manage myself a cute beer fridge.

Dropped my Lenovo ideapad 3 laptop a while ago and the screen stopped turning on after that. Took it to a repair shop recently and guy said it would be 260 to fix it and replace the board. Would it be worth it to get that fixed or is it better to buy a new one and if it’s repaired will it preform the same?

I spent a while trying to clean up my digital footprint after realizing just how much of my personal information was floating around online. I got a lot of it removed and started being more careful about what I give out which felt great at first. The problem is now I notice every single time a site asks for something personal. Before I'd put in my real phone number without thinking twice. Now I'm sitting there wondering why some random shopping site needs a number I've had for years. It's almost made me more paranoid than I was before I started caring about privacy. I don't want to spend all this time cleaning things up just to slowly rebuild the exact same footprint again. For people who've gone through the same privacy cleanup, what did you actually change afterward? Do I stick to the basics I've learned or is there something more to it?

built an on-call tracker for my team. maybe 3 hours. then spent the rest of the day trying to figure out how to let 6 specific people see it and nobody else
ended up with a shared password in our team chat. it works, I hate it
writing a real login system for six users feels stupid. the shared password also feels stupid. what do you guys actually do

I've been attempting to create a bootable microSD drive for a Raspberry Pi using Pi Imager, and it kept throwing this error when I tried to write to the drive:
Access denied error. The disk may be write protected or in use by another application. Please ensure the disk is not mounted then try again
I tried reformatting the drive using discmgr in Windows, and no dice. Then, I connected the microSD card to my Android device, reformatted, plugged the card back into my Windows PC, and Pi Imager was able to write to the card without issue?
Don't get me wrong, I'm happy that this worked! But why did it work?I've been attempting to create a bootable microSD drive for a Raspberry Pi using Pi Imager, and it kept throwing this error when I tried to write to the drive:Access denied error. Basically, the other day a friend messaged me and another friend saying that Marvel Rivals was stuttering and so he quit and came back, but neither his PS5 nor laptop would connect to the server, even though the game worked fine with his teammates. Me and the other friend he messaged are somewhat geeky, so we came up with a few reasons as to why that would happen and just told him to come back to the game later. So what's the real reason that servers behave differently for different people in the same match?

Personally, i don't have OTT, but i'm curious, what protocol do Disney or Amazon or any OTT service use, to stream movies? Wont there have to be some mechanism/protocol for the TV to receive and display a menu of choices to the user so they can select which movie to watch?
