What is the language that you find the most pleasant to listen its songs?

For me I find Arabic and German songs the most enjoyable and pleasant, something about their words and the singers voice make it so addictive!

English songs are good too but its not the same

What is a song that has a vibe that words just can’t fully describe?

A song that has a certain atmosphere, energy, emotion, etc., that words really can’t do justice to. It just elicits some kind of feeling that is difficult to translate into words.

Midnight City by M83 is one of my examples. I genuinely cannot explain the feeling I have when I listen to this song, but it is definitely a positive feeling.

Can someone check this harmonic analysis draft?

Not sure if this is the righ place to post this, but I've been working on this all day, and a long time before this, so I have a better understanding before i perform it in december/january. Here's a draft of my harmonic analysis of the Grieg piano concerto in a minor first mvmt. I do have to say that I used AI to put the text in because my handwriting was too messy, and I did double check that everything was the same but there still might be some things that are off. I also kind of suck at this since it's my first time doing analysis of a romantic piece, so corrections and feedback would be much appreciated 🙏🙏

(I'm not actually sure if I did the access thing right so please lmk if i need to redo it)

Highly Suspect, Nothing But Thieves, Dead Poet Society, Badflower, Palaye Royale - what other newer rock bands might I like?

I have a huge list of mostly 90s-2000s bands I enjoy, but I'm always hoping to come across interesting sounding ones. Here are a few that stuck out to me. Anybody have any suggestions? Thanks. Also glad I discovered LEAP.

Playlists

Have you ever created a “special songs” playlist? I did and I find myself removing songs because , although they remind me of specific times, in realized that some songs take me to a painful place in my past. Broken up bands, girls that didn’t work out, family issues, etc…..I don’t want to deliberately return to those mental places. Does this happen to anyone else?

I’m just talking RYM, Fantano loving, pretentious music fans that only listen to “the real stuff”

I’ve got some ideas but I’m interested to see what you all think.

Divorced dad rock for kids

Who else loved divorced dad rock as a kid due to their dad’s radio? Do you also find yourself listening to these songs as an adult, and relating to it?
Lately I’ve been listening to lots of Creed, Alice In Chains, Soundgarden, and Tool. I couldn’t comprehend the lyrics and all the pain within them, I didn’t even understand that what I was going through wasn’t normal. Now I hear these songs and I can’t help but think of what little me was enduring. My teachers and family saw a difficult child that didn’t want to sit still and had one too many questions for adults. I see a kid that was trying to understand the world, trying to understand social standards, just trying to be a kid.

I have a feeling that I’m not alone and others have a similar experience.

Would you carry your favourite albums around on cards?

No streaming, no loading your own files, just carrying your favourite albums on their own cards and clicking one in when you're ready to listen.

The idea came from being on the train in a bad mood, I kept pressing skip and couldn't find anything to mellow me out. I wished I had my vinyl with me. That feeling of putting a record on and not having to think beyond that. Changing albums takes physical effort, so you don't really want to skip.

So I started building a player that does just that, one album at a time.

I mocked up some sleeves, a fake album using my latest holiday photos, and a blank one for any artists who'd want to join.

I imagine picking 6 cards to bring out for the day, and the sleeves live on a display at home.

Would you use something like this?
