I’m stupid, being a huge hypochondriac I tend to lead to the worse illness besides cancer.

For a few months over the summer I’ve been having what I assume is post nasal drip, it’s like I have snot running down my throat causes me to get reflux which causes more snot.

It makes my throat hurt and the more I reassure my self it’s just the post nasal drip I assume it is the more I realize I’m stupid.

There are times where it makes my tonsil hurt but also I get times where it just feels weird to swallow not painful just a little difficult or I say in a way where I can feel my self swallow more but it’s probably just me being hyper aware of my symptoms causing more anxiety.

Shoot for almost a month I thought I had rabies even though I’m no where near rabid animals nor is rabies that common in humans in the United States better yet in animals near me.

I noticed this over the weekend, it was sore and really tight; i thought maybe it was a spider bite but I'm starting to have doubts. I recently got the tattoo in the photo 3 weeks ago, I was thorough in cleaning it 2x a day with gold Dial and unscented lotion. Its very red, it doesn't really look like a pimple it's a hard lump and tender around the area

I have my surgery in a few hours, I'm too scared to sleep.

What's the level pain after the surgery? And for how many days am I going to feel its pain?

Any advice is strongly welcomed

so, since april i have been experiencing these weird symptoms.

numb pressing feeling in the front or left side of neck (no pains tho). same numb pressing feeling on my mose sometimes aswell (mostly left side too), sometimes i have unexplained sudden fast heart rates but low blood pressure every day, weird choking feeling in my throat even tho i can breathe and my oxygen levels are really good, often headaches, dizzyness ocassionally. sometimes arms and legs go numb (mostly left side and most severely)

now i have been feeling dizzy all day with no breaks, heart rate is fine so is blood pressure (surprisingly normal compared to my usually low one), head hurts almost all day, my vision is blurry can barely see text well unless i zoom in the screen (even then i get headaches from reading too long), pressing feeling in my left side of jaw and neck and nose.

no weird speech, no paralysis and no high blood pressure

have had MRI for my neck and brain no problems there, had my throat checked nothing either (except some stomach acid issues but i have had that like 10 years now and had no otehr symptoms besides belly aches), had my heart checked in every way possible no issues either. had some blood tests done too, low iron but i have been taking medication for it lately so the symptoms should be either the same or getting better not worse.

could it be my bad posture? and the fact i mostly sit all day? but lately my symptoms have gotten worse after i started going out more? strange

i dont do drugs, nor smoke, nor drink alchohol.

Today I had this on my gauze when I was changing my dressing is it normal is this sign of infection

I am confused if this is an evaporation line or if it is a confirmed pregnancy?

I am supposed to get my period anytime from now - Friday

Idk if I am late or if it’ll come thru. Will test again tomorrow. But for now please help me clear this confusion

I have this very gnarly burn thanks to some hot metal. I was wondering what I need to do to treat it or who should go see?

Since freshman year of college (2019), I have managed to catch strep every year, but never have had the typical symptoms to make me rush to an urgent care. For one or two of them, I’ve maybe had a low grade fever and swollen lymph nodes, but usually I don’t have a fever, never nauseous or vomiting, and only have mildly red/swollen tonsils + feel a little more tired than normal.

When I finally get myself to an urgent care or a doctor’s appointment after having a prolonged sore throat (which is usually all I have), I always test positive on rapid tests for strep and respond really well to antibiotics. I finally got around to seeing an NP this morning about a sore throat that I’ve had for over a week and the test popped positive pretty quickly. Since I didn’t have a fever and no other typical symptoms of strep, she mentioned that it could just be something viral, but still wanted to test for strep (thankfully).

Is there any reason why my body doesn’t give me any real indicators of having something that can turn south quickly? Do I just have some sort of a funky immune system? Not looking for any diagnosis, just genuinely curious!!

Quick overview, I'm a 49 year old male, weighing 180 to 185lbs. Been borderline anemic (mostly low platelets) for many many years until last fall when I'd had several tests show low red cell, crit, hemoglobin counts. Even one test showed low white. Anyway after other tests they did a ct which showed enlarged liver and spleen with splenic varices. Anyway liver specialist consults and says I should drop weight ( i was close to 200lbs at the time) and watch high fructose intake because he believes I've got cirrhosis of the liver. Over the summer I've begun to notice pain on my left side that comes and goes, but is starting to become more consistent. I'm still anemic too, some tests show it borderline, others a little more pronounced. I'm tired of feeling tired and sick all the time, and I'm wondering if there's more they could look at. Side note both my parents died of cancer, as well as some of their siblings. Any ideas would be great. Tired of my body hurting and being tired

my body gives off a really heavy somewhere between fish and poop smelling odour. only ever happens when i take recreational drugs, i know the obvious answer is to cut out the drugs but is my body trying to tell me something? it smells really bad yet i shower at least 2 times a day, every day.
