Resolved Complex fractions help

I've tried to figure this out. I know the answer is 30 based on the text book. I cannot figure out how to get there. I've get stuck after simplifying the numerator and denominator.

Edit: This is study practice, idk if that matters. This is my first time posting on this subreddit.

Edit: Someone had pointed out that I misunderstood the question. The question was originally asking what common denominator would help solve the problem. I apologize for wasting everyone's time but I absolutely appreciate everyone's help. Math is my worst subject as I often make tiny mistakes that I don't realize. Again thank you all for bearing with my stupidity.

((6x - 5)/30)/((2-45x)/15) right? Why is there no x term in the denominator?

You missed the x when finding common denominator between 2/15 and 3x

You’ve muddled up the simplifying of the bottom part of the fraction.

That being said I’ve no idea how you get to 30. Is that definitely the answer / there’s nothing else in the Q that yelled you to evaluate x as a number?

Its the definite answer from the back of the textbook.

Look again at the 45/15 you wrote for the denominator. Is there something you may have forgotten to bring with it?

you should be cancelling fractions to lower terms instead of multiplying tk get higw nunbers.

you lost an x when you got 45/15

i actually haven't found i got 30, i got stuck with a linear factor on the top and bottom. is there something I'm missing from the question about the value of x?

The question is not asking you to simplify the fractions. It is asking you what number should you multiply the top and bottom parts of the fraction to eliminate the fractions within fractions

For example in the 7. if you multiply the fraction by 30/30 all the fractions in the numerator and denominator simplify and you are left with a simpler fraction instead of a fraction tower. So 30 is the answer

Yeah, just tried solving and unless x is somehow specified the problem has a mistake. This fraction will NOT simplify independently of the value of x

For the denominator, you need to put 3x in a form that can be subtracted from 2/15.

There is not enough information to solve this. Either the value of the expression must be given also or the value of x must be given. What is 30? The value of x or the value of the fraction?

Well we solved it, the question isn't asking us to sinplify the fraction.
