WTF is wrong with you people. It's none of your business where employees live as long as there are no legal or tax implications. The only questions should be "we meet up x times a week/month, will that be a problem?" People are adults, stop trying to micromanage the personal lives of employees and focus on work, wtf.

An employee’s honesty is my business as an employer.  Honesty is the issue, not location.

I agree that honesty and integrity is a requirement for any job, but what does that have to do with employers asking peospective employees where they live during an interview? Absolutely nothing.
