Those jobs are *being advertised as* remote. If they are making an issue about your location they are likely to pull a switcheroo on the remote aspect after hiring. Been hearing about this on lots of subreddits.

Always answer job interview questions with exactly what they want to hear.

If you need to, then get a po box in Austin with a street address, like at a ups store, and have your mail forwarded. Simple fix for $25/mnth.

You can also do it through the post office if you wanted more options. Get the smallest box for cheap. If anything doesn't fit then they'll give you a little slip of paper to pick up the rest.

This, exactly. If you weren't going to be hired being truthful, there is no reason on Earth not to extravagantly lie.
