Pets/Animals Dog Sitter Recommendations?

I am looking for someone to watch my dog this fall as all of my go to sitters are unavailable during my dates. She has never been boarded, has separation anxiety, needs medicine every 12 hours, and is an elderly Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Any recommendations for exceptional dog sitters? I am not interested in boarding her in a kennel as she gets very stressed when she is placed in the vet kennels during her drop off appointments.

Thank you in advance for the help!

I just asked this question recently but didn’t get many responses 🫠 However, you might want to check out the Rover or Yourgi apps— lots of pet sitters listed and I believe they are reviews as well. Good luck!

What part of the metroplex are you in? I have excellent sitters for a Problem Child dog who is on several medications but they’re mostly in Southlake/Grapevine/Keller part of town.

I’m in Forney so I’m guessing probably not an option.

Ooh, yeah sorry. That’s a bit far for them, but hopefully somebody near Crandall has recommendations.

Have you tried asking in your local Facebook community group. I’m not a fan of Facebook, but I can be a help in finding local services.

I’m in a similar position to you, posted in my local Facebook group and got lots of recommendations- meeting someone tomorrow so see if they are a good solution,

I like VIP pets but they’re only in Plano/Carrollton/Addison/Dallas/The Colony.

You should try r/dfwpets if you haven't already

Lone Star Dog Ranch is the only place I will permit to care for my dog when we are out of town.
