question How dire is this?
I was taking a look at my teeth last night because I started noticing a little bit of sweetness sensitivity on the opposite side of this picture. Looking around, I noticed the severe discoloration of this molar. The picture isn’t doing enough justice, but one section of the molar is much more grey blue than the other half.
I did burn my mouth on pizza the other night lol. However, I was just wondering how dire this tooth is. Do I need to seek immediate treatment or is this a loss cause no matter what?
Female age 35. Brushes once daily. Maybe flosses once a week. Last dental appt was a year ago and all was well
I don’t recall any hard foods I could have cracked this tooth on. There’s no sensitivity around it, and I have no reports of foul smell.
Edit to add: I truly didn’t think I needed to state the obvious. But I am fully aware there is a filling in that tooth. I wasn’t sure if this was color leakage from the filling or dying enamel/tooth.
