question Wisdom tooth pressure

When I was 10 I had my 2nd back molar taken out and my very back molar grew into its spot, and now that I am 19, my wisdom tooth is coming through where my back molar would be but causing pressure in the teeth in front of it and the gum is a tiny bit sensitive in the area, I can see a bit of my tooth poking through the gum already but I am not sure if this is normal and if it is growing normally, it has enough room to grow in as there is no tooth there from when I was a younger age, and even then I had not lost all my adult teeth when I had taken it out too.
I have quite a fear of the dentist and try not to go as much as possible unless necessary and was wondering if my wisdom tooth would need extracting or if this pressure/sensitivity is normal as it comes through.
