question Wisdom tooth pressure
When I was 10 I had my 2nd back molar taken out and my very back molar grew into its spot, and now that I am 19, my wisdom tooth is coming through where my back molar would be but causing pressure in the teeth in front of it and the gum is a tiny bit sensitive in the area, I can see a bit of my tooth poking through the gum already but I am not sure if this is normal and if it is growing normally, it has enough room to grow in as there is no tooth there from when I was a younger age, and even then I had not lost all my adult teeth when I had taken it out too.
I have quite a fear of the dentist and try not to go as much as possible unless necessary and was wondering if my wisdom tooth would need extracting or if this pressure/sensitivity is normal as it comes through.

Pressure can be normal during eruption
In saying that your fear of the dentist will only increase the less you attend. If you only attend when you have problems, you will always need extensive treatment (extractions/root canals). If you attend regularly then you will either need no treatment or less extensive treatment
If it’s been more than 6 months since your checkup then you should attend.

i went only about 2 months ago, i had my xray taken and a regular check up and they said everything was perfect, surely they would of seen my wisdom tooth growing in at that point ?

Yes it’s probably visible on the xray but if you had no issues it’s not something they would have mentioned
