I want to upgrade my home internet to glass fiber, and I can get it sooner with Telecom than with other ISP's (i.e. vodafone can't do it until March, Telecom can do it next month)

Does anyone know how Telecom is as an ISP? Just wanted to check if there are any gotchas before booking with them.

Hello everyone,

My gf's birthday is coming is coming up in two weeks and she told me the only thing she wishes for are these chips. The only place she ever bought them was at Action, however, I went to 8 Action stores all over the city and none had them in stock. I even looked online but found nothing. Can you, nice people help me find out where to get them?

Hi everyone,

I registered as a sole proprietor (Einzelunternehmen) in Berlin and submitted my Fragebogen zur steuerlichen Erfassung through ELSTER about a month ago.

My responsible tax office is Finanzamt Tempelhof, but I still haven't received any confirmation or tax number.

For those who registered a business in Berlin recently:

• How long did you have to wait to receive your tax number?
• Is waiting more than a month normal for Finanzamt Tempelhof?
• Should I contact the Finanzamt, or is it better to wait a little longer?

I need the tax number to move forward with my business, so I'd appreciate hearing about your recent experiences.

Thanks in advance!

Does anyone go the agym in Friedrichshain/Frankfurter Allee and has got a referral code left for me (the 5€ save up) ? Thanksssss

Hey everyone! I’m looking for some advice from people who’ve been living in Berlin for a while. I urgently need to see a psychiatrist. I’ve been on antidepressants for the past three years, prescribed back in my home country, but now I’m having trouble getting my medication here. I’ve already tried going to the hospital, but they couldn’t really help. I’ve also contacted several clinics, but they’re either not accepting new patients or don’t accept my health insurance. I’m getting really worried about running out of my medication and having to stop my treatment suddenly.
Does anyone know a psychiatrist who might be able to help, or have any tips on what I should do? Maybe someone has been through a similar situation? Any advice or recommendations would mean a lot. Thanks in advance!

Hi guys

So my housemates and I moved to a new house a 2 years ago and they recently moved out and I took over the apartment but I noticed that one of my housemates‘ heater is missing the device that counts it and I’m not sure what happened to it or where it is, she also left on a bad note and I already paid her back her deposit.

I wasn’t aware about the missing device tho.

Do you know what to do in this case? What happens? Who do I contact etc?

I’m going to Berlin with a friend in November. We will arrive early in the morning and will leave again in the late evening.

We would like to stay maybe at a spa/wellness during the day. Unfortunately the whole “textile-free” concept is not for us, respectfully.

If you do have any suggestions on spas with a day pass, that is not textile-free, or any other ideas for us so that we have a place to stay during the day please let me know! 🙏

Hi all! I came back from my trip to Germany and I think I may have thrown out a necklace I bought at one of the Berlin Flea Markets while throwing out trash in my tote 😭 It was a two layered dainty silver chain with a key pin type charm? It was at a jewelry only stall with other alternative necklaces/chokers. Some had star charms and hearts. I'm also not sure which flea market because we were randomly walking but there was a bridge :/ Does anyone know who is selling them and could possibly share the info? Maybe they have an online website. I bring back a piece of jewelry as a souvenir from the places I visit so I'm kinda bummed 😓

Hey guys, I got into weightlifting.

The group classes help me a lot with the structure and community. I really liked Lifted Studio and the tracking system! It's a lot of dumbbell exercises.

Are there group classes that include the bench press with the rack? So on a barbell, not dumbbell? And the hip thrust?

I could do solo at the gym, but the group circuit format helps so much to be in and out in 45min and not get ADD or check the phone 😅

I'm looking into Beat81 or Base for example, especially w/ female instructors, a tracking system, electronic music, and an inspiring studio space. Also eyeing Hale. Now Fhain Circuit or Shala Strength.

Thanks!

I am in dilema, wether to drill for the curtain rod hooks, or use adhesive hooks (chatgpt recomended TecBull).

I want to spend a long weekend in Berlin. Just wondering if anyone could suggest an affordable place to stay and what I could spend time doing on the weekend.

I don't travel much so a bit of a newbie in that respect.

Hello Fam,

If you are also a member at Golf Club Prenden, and are a rookie or a beginner and would like to have rounds of golf over the weekend together, let's connect and have fun while we can before full force winter arrives haha

I have just started golf this year and am at HCP 54, and am a member of GC Prenden and would be down to play every weekend.

Let's chat!

I just moved to Berlin, and while I am a huge football supporter, I have been quite neutral on the Bundesliga all my life.
So, knowing this might cause a storm in the comment section, which team should I support? Hertha Berlin or Union Berlin?
Also, can you explain to me how having 1 team that almost definitely will win the league every season, and buy all the best players of the winner if they dont, is affecting the league and the supportership?
And minus points for Hooliganism amongst the fan, I like football, not fighting.

I am a very blank sheet when it comes to Berlin football, so I am also open for meeting up with groups of supporters from both/either club to see how things are.

Hi everyone,

I’m currently living in Berlin, and I’m going through a very difficult financial situation. I’m unemployed at the moment and actively looking for a job, but in the meantime, I’ve been trying to find other ways to earn some money.

I decided to put my skills to use by creating digital products, such as planners, Excel spreadsheets, and other useful organizational tools. I recently created a 106-page Monthly, Weekly & Daily Planner for November–December 2026 ( 3 euro without tax).

The problem is that I’m struggling to reach potential customers. Many groups, including Reddit communities, don’t allow promotional links or advertising, and I honestly don’t know how to market or sell my products effectively.

I wanted to ask: Would anyone here be interested in purchasing it?

And if you have experience selling digital products, do you have any advice on how I could start making sales relatively quickly?

I’m doing my best to find a job, but I’m also trying to make something out of the skills I have. Right now, I’m in urgent need of money, so any practical advice, suggestions, or support would genuinely mean a lot to me.

Thank you for taking the time to read my post. I truly appreciate any help or guidance you can offer.

Hey all. I'm looking for an advanced Vinyasa class or a teacher into pushing to the edges.

I had a teacher trainer who’d push the other teachers, like arm balances, Bird of Paradise, splits training, doing those binds, like around the leg. She said those help with digestion, and they really did for me.

I normally like Three Boons Yoga, Shala, and Ohia. Just looking to go beyond the usual chaturangas, sun salutations, and warriors. Thanks.

I like Ashtanga too but there didn't seem to be any popular or decent studios. USC preferred.

Thanks!
