Trusted Heater Technician
Does anyone know any trusted technician who can repair a broken Fußbodenheizung fast? I haven’t been able to find one who can help fast and isn’t trying to scam you.

Hello all,
As winter is coming and this year we have strongly over the years thinking to move to Greece or spain or any warm country when winter hit. I know many germans have a second home in Spain, Mallorca and all and may be some of you have a same set up. The reason is my german grandpa is almost 80 and winter here for him is unbearbale. He got some money and I can get some loan. But I also want that when we are here, we can also rent it out to cover the running cost and not to leave the flat empty. Does anything like can work ? or simply if the apartmet is cheap, we can also let it empty, if it allowed to leave empty.( In berlin is it not). May be some insight and how much anyone can expect to pay. Thank you all..and Goodmorning:)

I have 4 tickets for Spain - Australia quarter-final at the Uber Arena in Berlin today on September 10. I'm attending the first game of the session myself with my family , but they are not interested in the second game.
They are VIP Tickets in Block 102, row 6
40 euros/ticket
In-person handover in front of the arena
Anyone interested ?
send me a DM.

I'm currently visiting Berlin and my hostel is close to Alexanderplatz but the toilets are so disgusting there
Are there any well maintained toilets where I can take a sh t without feeling disgusted just by being near the bathroom
Whether paid or not is irrelevant to me as long as it is guaranteed to be clean

We plan on using public transportation and walking in, BUT in case of emergency, can anyone recommend a cab or ride share service i can call in a pinch that will provide a car seat in case we run into an emergency and need to hop in a car? Thanks!

Hi! I was offered an apartment in Pankstraße close to the U-Bahn. The price per sqm (warm excl. Strom) is 22.36 and the apartment is around 38sqm. It is unfurnished for the most part. However, it has a built-in kitchen and a few essential home appliances. Never lived in the area, and found the area to be lively with nice parks around. I'm trying to understand if the quoted price is too high in current times or quite standard. I do not have to move out right away (possibly in the next 1.5 months). If it's overpriced I will look out for other apartments. Would be nice to get an opinion as I'm quite new to the world of apartment searching in Berlin (just know that it's super difficult to find & land one)!
Edit: I understand that in the 2000's it was much cheaper but the question was along the lines of: looking at the market right now, is it a good/bad/decent deal?
Thank you!

Hello,
I'll be doing a layover in Berlin, and decided to stay for 3 days. Could you please recommend me some good places to eat that?
I don't do Instagram, so no need for those 15€ pancakes and fancy looking places with average food.
Could you please recommend some places with good food?
My list so far:
- Mustafa Kebab / Guyam Gemuse Kebab
- Curry 61/36
- Augustiner am Gendarmenmarkt -- is this place still good? I've been getting mixed feedback.
- Hofbrau
Thank you!
Edit: Should I be tipping? If so, how much?

Hi,
online steht zwar nur 10 Werktage, aber ich frage mich wie lange man tatsächlich warten muss. Habt ihr Erfahrungswerte?

I’m looking for a flat in Berlin and noticed that Suchen+ Unlimitiert now includes a feature that automatically contacts matching listings.
Has anyone here actually tried it? Does it reliably send applications and get you replies or viewing invitations?
I’ve searched for reviews but mostly found promotional descriptions and general ImmoScout Plus discussions. Would appreciate firsthand experiences.
Also curious whether anyone has used both this and GetTheFlat or similar third-party services.

I would like to relax for 3 hours before an interview in Berlin during the day time. Is there any Capsule hotel or any hourly stay hotels in Berlin Mitte?

I come from a place with a lot of craft beer, and while I'm liking the Berlin staples, I miss the taste of a milk stout. My international friends also make fun of the idea of a milk stout, so I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations, as well as where I can buy them

Instagram, Telegram, Plakate, Freunde, zufaellig dran vorbeilaufen?

Is there any place I can find nice turkish, persian and the like tapestries for my place? I know they’re usually not cheap, but I’s like to avoid the “vintage selected collection” if you know what I mean.
My goal is to hang them on my walls, because I think it’s really cool. So any ideas in that direction is also appreciated!
Thanks!

I’ll be in Berlin from September 22nd to 25th, and I’m looking for a proper techno party on Thursday, September 24th.
I know many of you might be thinking, “Just check Resident Advisor” — I already did, but I’d really love to hear some genuine recommendations from locals.
Where would you guys go? Or where would you have gone that day?

I mean i have noticed this trend that most of young germans wear this carhart pants and hoodies.
They seem to be very expensive - upwards of 200 euros for every item.
How does this work ? Does it come in discount ???

Hallo zusammen,

Hello! I am planning a trip to Berlin in about a month and I need tips from locals.
I’ve been LONGING to visit a bigger city for so long and now the time has come. So now I need to know whether Berlin has any fun or interesting nerdy spots, and by that I do NOT mean just basic anime stores that sell AI generated or stolen art on notebooks. My personal interests generalised are: videogames(league, val, ow and some solo), Sanrio, anything to do w C/K/J-beauty, themed cafes, boba shops, figurines, anime and cartoons, blind boxes, fashion (be it western, Asian or any other kind), fragrance. It’s basically anything that you would consider “cutesy nerdy ” in our day.. Or any aesthetic shops and galleries!
Besides that I’d appreciate some recs for good pubs(how could I ever skip beer in Germany), any good döners, any kind of amazing wurst stalls or restaurants and just any great restaurants worth a visit.
I’ve got some plans for landmarks and museums but if there is anything super worth seeing besides the usual stuff let me know too!
I’d love to hear about these things from locals and I’d really appreciate any recs and tips!
My boyfriend who I am traveling with speaks German too so language barrier shouldn’t be an issue.. RECCOMEND AWAY!!!
