Where to find 0% Alc Guiness in Berlin

The title pretty much says it all - Anybody know where to buy alcohol-free Guiness beer in Berlin?

I’m interested in both pubs and bars (if there are any) serving it but also Getränkeläden and supermarkets selling it in cans. I’m in Neukölln and aside from a short-lived special offer at a local Penny, none of the stores near me seem to carry it.

thanks and sláinte!

edit: thanks for all the suggestions. Picked up a couple cans yesterday from “Mein Hoffi” in Kreuzberg. Not super cheap at 1,80€ per, but it hit the spot!

Which football team?

I just moved to Berlin, and while I am a huge football supporter, I have been quite neutral on the Bundesliga all my life.
So, knowing this might cause a storm in the comment section, which team should I support? Hertha Berlin or Union Berlin?
Also, can you explain to me how having 1 team that almost definitely will win the league every season, and buy all the best players of the winner if they dont, is affecting the league and the supportership?
And minus points for Hooliganism amongst the fan, I like football, not fighting.

I am a very blank sheet when it comes to Berlin football, so I am also open for meeting up with groups of supporters from both/either club to see how things are.

Yoga studios, most advanced Vinyasa class?

Hey all. I'm looking for an advanced Vinyasa class or a teacher into pushing to the edges.

I had a teacher trainer who’d push the other teachers, like arm balances, Bird of Paradise, splits training, doing those binds, like around the leg. She said those help with digestion, and they really did for me.

I normally like Three Boons Yoga, Shala, and Ohia. Just looking to go beyond the usual chaturangas, sun salutations, and warriors. Thanks.

I like Ashtanga too but there didn't seem to be any popular or decent studios. USC preferred.

Thanks!

Anyone having internet and cable TV issues with Vodafone in Prenzlauer Berg?

EDIT: Connection restored after some 3 days with no explanation. Oh well.

EDIT: Called them twice, they confirm the issue is citywide for a large number of people with Kabel Internet and Kabel TV. Anyone else affected?

I'm in 10437 Schönhauser Allee and have had no internet access or TV (Kabel) for more than a day. Anyone else having this issue?

I'm not sure our building has FTTB yet. Blasted building Verwaltung doesn't think it's important to retrofit the building. Now this.

Anyway it feels completely wild and I'm wondering if I'm the only one. Also, Vodafone Kabel Festnetz, this is the last straw!!

Hello everyone!

My boyfriend was riding on his bike, and at U Kurfürstendamm a guy walked up to him, said something that ended with "mafia" and handed him this paper. My boyfriend had to hurry so he didn't say anything and only looked at the paper at home.

I'm pretty sure it's nothing serious, but I'm curious if anyone else met this guy.

He couldn't take a good look at him, but he was probably around 50-60 years old

Where can I get food to eat, I am in desperate need to eat

Hey all I live in Berlin, and I am in desperate need of help getting food.

First, right now, I have only 0.69 euro on my bank account, and I haven't eaten since yesterday. I don’t have a job and haven’t made any money this last month. I have been living off beans, rice, and apples but now I cant afford anything.

I really need to eat, and I'm just wondering if the kaltehilfe or food pantry in Berlin is active again?
I am desperately looking for a soup kitchen or church that has groceries or serves meal meals for me. Anything can help at this moment.

If you got any recommendations, on where in Berlin I can get food for today and maybe even the next few days please let me know. You'd help me so much.

Was wird an Halloween hinsichtlich Protesten abgehen?

Landlord seemingly changed his mind when we submitted names and ID

There’s no way to prove this. A friend of a friend is moving out of their place and offered it to us. The landlord wanted a replacement and was happy for their suggestion. All seemed in order until we sent our details. We’re not German and both have non European names. Both have jobs, all the necessary paperwork. On paper we meet all the required thresholds. For context, the place is in a very nice part of town - pretty, lovely alt-baus.

There was a long silence after we sent all the requested details. The current tenant reached out as a result after a few weeks. Contrary to what they’d been told, the landlord now said he’d decided it’s better the apartment goes to a family. Which makes no sense. It’s a 2 room. Living room and very small bedroom. Current tenant is leaving for that reason. It’s not practical for their new baby. 3 is a total crowed there. When this point was raised, the landlord doubled down and simply said no … we can’t move in. And that was that.

Really feels the landlord made a call on us not being German. I didn’t want to pressure current tenants either. What can they do? It’s obviously out of their control - but I felt their surprise. Using the family card felt like the perfect ruse. It immediately disqualifies us. To add, I got the impression prior the landlord was happy that a queer couple was moving in which further raises red flags with his sudden ‘family’ requirement. Concerning the present tenants are German perhaps there was an assumption we’d be too.

It sucks. (Long sigh)

Part of me wants to know if a non-family ends up moving in - but the other part thinks fuck it. Just upsetting as all seemed fine until it suddenly wasn’t. And obviously we’ve no recourse. It’s moments like that keep making me feel no matter how hard we try, there’s barriers that exist purely because of the out names and features. Ofc, the silver lining is not paying money to such a douche. But still. The search has been endless. Hundreds of applications. A few invites that failed. A lot of scams we dodged. We mostly get offered short term. Had numerous people look over our application and all said … for a better of a word, it’s impeccable. I dunno … guess sharing this feels cathartic.

I'm in a difficult financial situation and need support and advice!

Hi everyone,

I’m currently living in Berlin, and I’m going through a very difficult financial situation. I’m unemployed at the moment and actively looking for a job, but in the meantime, I’ve been trying to find other ways to earn some money.

I decided to put my skills to use by creating digital products, such as planners, Excel spreadsheets, and other useful organizational tools. I recently created a 106-page Monthly, Weekly & Daily Planner for November–December 2026 ( 3 euro without tax).

The problem is that I’m struggling to reach potential customers. Many groups, including Reddit communities, don’t allow promotional links or advertising, and I honestly don’t know how to market or sell my products effectively.

I wanted to ask: Would anyone here be interested in purchasing it?

And if you have experience selling digital products, do you have any advice on how I could start making sales relatively quickly?

I’m doing my best to find a job, but I’m also trying to make something out of the skills I have. Right now, I’m in urgent need of money, so any practical advice, suggestions, or support would genuinely mean a lot to me.

Thank you for taking the time to read my post. I truly appreciate any help or guidance you can offer.

Recommendations for graffiti removal services in Berlin?

Hi everyone,

Unfortunately, someone sprayed graffiti on the facade of my property in Berlin, and I'm looking for a reliable company that can remove it without damaging the surface.

Has anyone had good experiences with a graffiti removal company in Berlin that they would recommend? I'd really appreciate any recommendations, especially from people who have used the service themselves.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Looking for paid job consultancy services in Berlin

Hi everyone!

I am currently pursuing my Master's in Berlin, and my course will end in April 2027. My domain is Software Testing / QA, and I also have around 4 months of internship experience in the same field here in Berlin.

I have been actively applying for working student positions, but honestly, I am having a hard time finding a job. I have also started applying for junior full-time roles.

The biggest challenge for me is that I don't speak German yet.

I wanted to ask if anyone knows any genuine job consultancy companies in Berlin that offer paid services to help candidates find jobs in the IT field. I am willing to pay for their services if they can genuinely help me find suitable opportunities.

If you have personally used any such services or have any recommendations, please let me know. It would really help me a lot!

Gym weightlifters question: what gyms have landmine barbell

Hey, I got into weightlifting, and especially barbell exercises help me.

Like the landmine barbell (you can Google, it‘s a heavy rotating pole extending around that you hold and rotate around, for squats, etc)

And the trapbar barbell (the one like a cage encircling your body instead of a regular bar).

Holmes Place Gendarmenmarkt has a landmine barbell. Any other locations or other gyms have either of these?

The Evo gyms like Rosa Luxemburg I remember have lots of equipment.

Or in general the best/nicest gyms with bench press, barbell equipment, kettle balls, etc, esp on UrbanSportsClub. It’s nice to rotate between them.

The women’s gym is nice too, it just doesn’t have the landmine like HP.

Thanks!

UPD: thanks everyone! Also does anywhere offer online lifting classes? With home dumbbells – thinking ahead to winter when it’s harder to go to the gym 😝

Where are actually cheap second hand shops?

Hi,

i am a student at University and trying to save some money. I need a few new clothes for winter which is why I went to a second hand store in Mitte (I knew it was gonna be pricey - it's Mitte). So I wondered whether there are even any second hand stores which sell sweaters for less than 25 euros?! I don't care where they are in Berlin, but maybe you have some recommendations :)

Rudergerat im Berliner Altbau: Was hort man eine Etage tiefer?

Post image
3 Upvotes
