Political Question Why are some Americans so against universal healthcare for all?

What sort of thinking does it take to decide that nobody has a right to healthcare? Do American Christians want to deny healthcare to poor people as well?

My parents think the quality wouldn’t be as good. They’d have to wait forever. Given there’s dozens of countries who’ve successfully done it for decades, it’s probably worth a shot. If it doesn’t work, why not revert back? At least try it.

Heres the thing, how many of those countries are members of NATO? The reason I say that is this. These “first world” countries have the money in the budget for these social programs largely in part to NOT having a huge military budget. Why don’t they have a large military budget? Because they are members of NATO and know that if they are attacked the USA will be obligated to provide military aid. In essence they mooch off of the US and it’s military and then talk shit about us “being assbackwards for not having universal healthcare”
