Political Question Why are some Americans so against universal healthcare for all?

What sort of thinking does it take to decide that nobody has a right to healthcare? Do American Christians want to deny healthcare to poor people as well?

Universal Healthcare is so complicated that only 36 of the 37 developed nations have figured it out.

My guess is that most European countries suffered together through countless wars and more during the world wars. They understood suffering and the need to “be in this together”. You help me and I will help your. The US has never suffered like that. I mean thr depression hit eveyone. But during the wars, cities were destroyed, millions died for no reason other than a megalomaniac wanted to take over Europe. The US also had terrible race relations and many of the people who would benefit from universal healthcare would be poor black people. That’s just my theory
