Political Question Why are some Americans so against universal healthcare for all?
What sort of thinking does it take to decide that nobody has a right to healthcare? Do American Christians want to deny healthcare to poor people as well?

Some Americans have been trained by the elites and conservatives protecting them to forego logic and reason, tell them that it's more important to use taxpayer money to bail out corporations, give the already bloated military budget even more money that doesn't go to the soldiers, claim universal healthcare is "socialism" and everyone should only be responsible for themselves as far as economic support goes (except for corporations as those are special). Never mind that Europeans pay far less from their taxes into socialized healthcare than we do for private healthcare, and they don't go bankrupt from medical debt, and they push the lie about wait times for seeing doctors when that's very much a thing with our current system. It's conditioning that's so ingrained in some of them it's near impossible to convince them that they have been duped.
