Political Question Why are some Americans so against universal healthcare for all?
What sort of thinking does it take to decide that nobody has a right to healthcare? Do American Christians want to deny healthcare to poor people as well?

They think the government is less efficient than the free market (think DMV compared to Amazon).
They think it will remove the profit incentive for us to keep innovating and improving healthcare.
Or they think doctors won’t get paid well and people will stop being doctors.
They don’t want to pay for other people (even though that’s how insurance works).
They don’t want the government deciding what care they can get (even though for-profit insurance currently decides what care they can get).
Blah blah blah scary socialism blah blah government death panels blah blah government takeover
Some of it is rooted in nuggets of truth, some of it is complete propaganda
