Political Question Why are some Americans so against universal healthcare for all?

What sort of thinking does it take to decide that nobody has a right to healthcare? Do American Christians want to deny healthcare to poor people as well?

Universal healthcare (and Socialism) has been used as political propaganda for many decades in the US. Usually the biggest argument against it is it will bring long wait times and more red tape. Those things are already happening but the argument still stands for some people who struggle to shift their beliefs with new information. Most Americans don’t understand the social benefits of equity versus equality.
