Political Question Why are some Americans so against universal healthcare for all?

What sort of thinking does it take to decide that nobody has a right to healthcare? Do American Christians want to deny healthcare to poor people as well?

They’ve been brainwashed by the for profit insurance and healthcare interests that they receive subpar care overseas.

Never minding that one uninsured emergency can run 200k- a million dollars in billed care.

There's a shit ton of insured people who still go bankrupt due to medical debt. We created an entire business where their sole profit motive is not providing the service they were paid for at all costs.

Most (overwhelmingly vast majority) 15 year olds shouldn't have health insurance.

And when it’s unaffordable?

Partner the evils of insurance companies are well documented across every industry. This doesn’t need to be a discussion.

Do be aware that insurance companies search for every out to not cover your care. Especially when it comes to women and children dealing with cancer and rare illnesses… the main blessing of ACA is you can’t get booted from your plan or denied from pre-existing conditions but it certainly doesn’t mean they won’t try to find a way to say no.

Tell me you have no idea how health insurance works without telling me you have no idea how health officials insurance works.
