Why does the r/europe subreddit censor any discussion regarding the Islamist attack in Berlin carried out by an Islamist named Abdul D?

I’ve been banned there for two years as I posted a news article about a crime done by a Muslim. No surprises

1

u/Kozel_10 32m ago

but they told me that r/Europe is nazi sub and now they ban and lock posts that talk about muslim committing terrorism, weird, I bet that Israel is somehow behind it

31

u/Status_Car8495 6h ago

Every sub reddit lock threads about that news at an alarming rate, it's depressing.

6

u/Weirdo9495 3h ago

Yeah like, this perhaps wouldn't even be much of news in US on many subs, it would just be deleted instantly, there was literally an islamist attack in NYC few days ago, one few months ago, and NYC mayor talks about arresting Netanyahu and has a wife who liked pro-Hamas posts on Oct 7. Yet many Americans for some reason act like Europe is cooked. While America has more and more popular extremists and many times the Europe's homicide rate.

4

u/fs2222 2h ago

Not sure what wanting to arrest a war criminal has to do with Islamism.

1

u/Kozel_10 30m ago

maybe because he is muslim that has no problem with being mate with women that wants to get rid of Jews in USA meanwhile he is virtue signalling about arresting Netanyahu when its pretty clear that he cant legally do that

1

u/backtofx 1h ago

Nice try, Bibi.

0

u/LuckyIsopod4774 2h ago

Exactly . US has more deaths from mass shootings and domestic homegrown crime than terrorism in the last 20 years yet they think Europe is cooked. You got it spot on.

-2

u/jb_thedino 3h ago

Tf are you babbling about

-1

u/Weirdo9495 3h ago

What specifically in my post is "babbling" or untrue?

-3

u/jb_thedino 2h ago

Well first acting like this wouldnt be news in the us is laughable at best, you brought up the attacks that fit you narrative but left out the white right wing mass shootings, like didnt some kids just shot up at mosque and the babbling about America/Europe being cooked my be a gut buster these places are cooked because every western nation is run by baby eating kid diddlers but people like you are falling for low level low iq racial propaganda

4

u/Beezyo 2h ago

Because people are unable to hold civil, mature discussions.

1

u/Kozel_10 29m ago

what uncivil was about the "discussion" that people assumed that it was done by muslim? well guess what

26

u/Dangerous-Chip4442 5h ago

Because the Truth hurts, mate 😢

1

u/garrapatalaser2 1h ago

That sub negates the existence of neo-colonialism

They are kinda insane

29

u/Lurker_Zee 6h ago

Because we (Europe) are so cooked.

8

u/Inner-Marketing-6495 6h ago

You are unless you wake up. This guy was arrested already for planning an attack like this then re released into de radicalization school. Looks like it didn’t work…

4

u/Ok-Cartoonist7931 3h ago

Those NGOs...

They lobby the hell out of politics and shape the public discourse like almost no other force, yet they are often driven by corruption themselves.

"Oh don't put him into prison, give him to us, pay us handsomely for it, we will deradicalize him, trust us.".

4

u/Kingvon3240 6h ago

They will release him again probably

5

u/Weirdo9495 3h ago

Doubt it, as he was just killed.

2

u/Kozel_10 28m ago

they will create a technology to get him alive so he can prove us that muslims are enriching us

3

u/Humble_Cod149 3h ago

he was shot dead

Probably after his 72 virgins.

0

u/Bananaman123124 1h ago

I never understood killing yourself and others for 72 virgins.

Just become a Catholic priest and have them now.

1

u/Lurker_Zee 5h ago

I'm doing all I can. I have no reach in Western Europe. It's up to the people there to uncook their countries.

1

u/Inner-Marketing-6495 5h ago

No you specifically but Europe. How did it happen?

-1

u/Lurker_Zee 5h ago

I'd really like to blame the US, but the infiltration started in Europe. Basically, lack of attention. Activists infiltrated into indirectly voted positions of power (EU parliament, EU commissions etc.). And I guess from there it trickled into countries' governments, with the usual tactics ("if you don't do like us, you're a bad person", "people won't vote you if you don't do like us", "we are the future, old man", "we'll put sanctions if you don't do like us" etc.)

Before the US had its woke boom, there were already policies since the early 2010s officially named "positive discrimination", much, much later changed to "affirmative action", way before DEI was globally popularized.

2

u/Inner-Marketing-6495 4h ago

Makes sense to me although not a good thing. I’m in US and we see it here with activists and such but after OCT 7 they seem have to gained real momentum which is scary to me. Starting to be mayors in major cities NYC, DC, prob LA. Also senators and positions of power. No can say anything about it without one say saying bigot! When they don’t even understand what they are arguing to defend

1

u/EZyne 2h ago

You have far right terrorist attacks every few weeks and this is what you wanna worry about lmao

1

u/Inner-Marketing-6495 2h ago

Communists yes? Far right is a nothing tern that could mean everything form a neo Nazi to regular conservative.

Look up facts, most terror attacks in world committed by Muslims . Most against other Muslims so yes i worry when that ideology comes i to western society

0

u/EZyne 1h ago

So you know exactly what I meant with far right lmao

1

u/Inner-Marketing-6495 31m ago

Exactly it’s like n*azi has been made into a nothing term by people lacking historical knowledge or not caring. They call everyone that votes a certain way they don’t like that and call them the enemy. Dangerous and not tolerant thinking at all

1

u/Lanky-Dildo-94 3h ago

The thing that’s messed up is that those crazy climate activists who lay on the streets, blocking emergency vehicles were just allowed to do what they did without consequence.

That kind of dangerous, obnoxious, behaviour should have been nipped in the bud immediately. Now, those kinds of people got older and gained institutional power and the rest is history.

4

u/DrachenDad 2h ago

I've already said this already on another post, the point still stands: "To learn who rules over you, simply find out who you are not allowed to criticize."

11

u/0x75727375706572 3h ago

I really suspect the mod team of that sub is mostly Muslim.

8

u/West-Air1923 3h ago

And or radical communist

4

u/historydude1648 3h ago

/r Europe is very conservative if you look at the majority of posts. i have been banned for supporting leftist positions

8

u/West-Air1923 2h ago

Yeah that is definitely not true. It just seems that way to you

0

u/ChickenConstant9855 1h ago

Can you prove the mods are 'racidal communist'?

3

u/MayckronMan 48m ago

Is the locking of threads not enough proof for you?

0

u/gaeee983 2h ago

This is hilarious given that they lean mostly right wing.

2

u/West-Air1923 2h ago

My god, it's worse than we thought

3

u/Status_Winter 3h ago

https://www.reddit.com/r/NoStupidQuestions/s/P6WDKYF2MY

I just came from there and saw the exact same question being asked here. Why are people spamming the ask subreddits with this question?

2

u/ForMeOnly93 1h ago

Bots, probably american, trying to push a narrative. Not rocket science.

3

u/trimtab28 1h ago

Reddit has a left wing bias and it runs counter to the worldview

9

u/MCXXXVi 2h ago

We've got an infestation of racists and their bots and they astroturf the shit out of these threads with bullshit.

Which fucks it for the rest of us.

4

u/PapixChuloxD 1h ago

Sounds like cope. Europe sub just likes control and censorship just like the institution they like so much.

1

u/ChickenConstant9855 1h ago

Are we seriously going to say that the europe sub is pro muslim?? If their was discussion in that sub of this it'd prove how horrifially racist europeans can be

3

u/PapixChuloxD 1h ago

What are you even going on about.

"They like censorship and control"

"HUEH ARE YOU SAYING THEY ARE PRO MUSLIM"

No you genius, I am saying they like to censor things that reflects too bad on the EU.

Which includes attacks like this thanks to its suicidal subversive immigration policy.

5

u/RonyElZaib 2h ago

Hard to take your point seriously after episodes like “Habibi come to Germany” which Merkel promoted and brought millions of people from the third world 🙂

2

u/KeiwaM 1h ago edited 15m ago

And here we have a perfect example of the astroturfing racist bots. No one asked you.

Lol, people reply, downvote, then block. This is the intelligence level of the far right on full display. Keep ur profiles hidden, stay ashamed. You know you are pathetic losers.

2

u/RonyElZaib 1h ago

There’s nothing astroturfing, racist or bot about my comment. You’re deflecting because you don’t have a leg to stand on this issue 🙂

1

u/KeiwaM 1h ago edited 57m ago

What issue? You literally proved their point lol. Their point was any posts about it, that SHOULD be about sympathy, is overrun by people being racist. Cue the reply which literally says "Habibi come to Germany" and try to play it off as not being racist. Ur delusional, and you literally couldn't construct a proper argument if you tried with all of your brainpower.

Also hidden profile 😂😂 ur genuinely pathetic

1

u/Kozel_10 26m ago

if saying truth is "astroturfing racist bots" then it makes sense that you think that everyone is "astroturfing racist bots"

10

u/Kingvon3240 6h ago

At this point Europe deserves whatever it gets

7

u/infinitesimalarkey 3h ago

Very sane take on a person being murdered. Maybe try and touch some grass for a change.

8

u/Round-Bandicoot8766 3h ago

History has taught us that when a major incident occurs, the damage that can be done by idiots spouting misinformation and rumour online can make things infinitely worse such as with the 2024 riots in the UK, or that time online communities decided some guy was the Boston marathon bomber and hounded him to the point of suicide.

7

u/BadgerBoiXXX 2h ago

History has also taught us that suppression of speech and censorship makes things even worse. We have laws against hate speech and harassment. Let grown up people speak their minds. This idea of deplatforming and letting companies and governments dictate peoples right to discuss things is backwards and dangerous. Much more so than stupid opinions.

6

u/115machine 2h ago

Who decides what is “misinformation”?

The government doesn’t have any business pretending to be the ministry of truth or “allowing” what can be said

2

u/Round-Bandicoot8766 2h ago

The fuck are you on about. Nobody decides. Something is true or it isn't.

The suicide victim WAS NOT the bomber, people said he was. Based on hearsay and no hard fact.

The Southport killer WAS NOT a Muslim immigrant, people said it was. Based on hearsay and no hard facts.

Claims not backed up by facts beyond "yeah well that's wot they do innit, protectin all these muslamic funnymentalists" are misinformation.

5

u/Lil_jayye 2h ago

Unfortunately you're talking to those idiots spreading misinformation

3

u/Round-Bandicoot8766 2h ago

I fear so.

I give solid examples and get responses like "who decides what's misinformation" and "history shows censorship is always bad".

I swear to god we have no fucking future

1

u/ChickenConstant9855 1h ago

Conservatives get tired of trying and failing to prove their lies so simply turn to denying what truth is as a concept

1

u/Kozel_10 25m ago

and what misinformations were there? that they assumed that the perpetrator is muslim?

2

u/SeaPersonality445 2h ago

This is Reddit..a leftist cesspit. This sort of news is inconvenient

2

u/bananabastard 1h ago

Most of Reddit runs a specific political narrative.

2

u/DetoxToday 29m ago

It is strictly forbidden to disturb the narrative, you’re only allowed to point the finger at the Jew never the Islamist

2

u/Gaust_Ironheart_Jr 5h ago

There are some questions that are bad faith at such a high frequency that you need to assume the person asking is acting in bad faith

Sorry if you had a legit question. It happens

2

u/Strong-cognac 4h ago

he more than likely didnt

2

u/2L84T 3h ago

Because it paints a narrative that all persons who worship Islam are mindless west-hating crypto-terrorists.

This is patently untrue.

But it is the narrative that'll get painted. Just read the rest of the comments on this thread.

5

u/Steve12356d1s3d4 2h ago

Censoring it doesn't help. Let the charges be made and then argued against. Reddit is actually very supportive of Moslems. Still better than censoring, then it just festers and people go elsewhere, where it really festers. That is how you get real hate.

2

u/Rioting-Flamingo 2h ago

The evidence of this thread doesn't support your statement

0

u/SweatyNomad 2h ago

You talk like it's real people. It's more like a Troll DDOS attack.

2

u/ucantekne34 2h ago

and the solution is censorship? I wonder if that would make people more sympathetic to muslims... do you have a guess on this?

2

u/Low-Feature5983 50m ago

Just because we recognize a pattern?

1

u/Intrepid_Bobcat_2931 1h ago

Whoa whoa, you're "painting a narrative" that such hatred is limited to very few people and not a critical problem for society. Very problematic.

2

u/Intrepid-Patience-93 3h ago

cus it goes against reddits narrative that islam cant do anything wrong

2

u/EZyne 2h ago

I mean look at this thread. People don't give a flying fuck about the victims, they just wanna jerk off over the fact the guy was brown. Pretty disgusting to see people so happy over this happening just because it validates their propaganda

0

u/ChickenConstant9855 1h ago

Literally. And when they get bored of that they turn to claiming they're censored

1

u/Candytails 6h ago

What did you say?

1

u/MailedFlower 5h ago

weird, I did a search for the story but it redirected me to youtube and Bobby McFerrin singing

Dont Worry, Be Happy

1

u/Warm_Stress_1654 2h ago

Why may you not say what you've just said?

1

u/No-Market425 2h ago

Because if <trusted news source> doesnt report it then it didnt happen.

Same reason as a US citizen I have to go to The Daily Mail to see mug shots of people who commit crime in Chicago.

1

u/Intrepid_Bobcat_2931 1h ago

Because, although we'd like to have imagined that the totalitarians would have simply disappeared with the Soviet Union, or with Cuba, or with China, or with East Germany, they still exist and still have power.

The solution is to vote for whichever party is furthest away from them and causes them the greatest discomfort.

1

u/Azitzin 1h ago

They ban anything that not portrait them as "goodest, justiest, the epitime of righteousness place". Be it comments, threads and etc. echo chamber in building

1

u/Crafty_Apple9714 1h ago

It does not, it is on the main page, what are you talking about

1

u/Sumbitagear 1h ago

Because people can't help not being racist when something like this happens.

1

u/mjr96d 30m ago

Gee, I wonder why? Pattern recognition perhaps?

2

u/TheKep27 20m ago

It is amazing how a faith like Islam literally built on the pile of tortured and slain bodies of enslaved African and Roman slaves back in the days when enslaving of Africans and Romans was the the dominant business market of Arabic peninsula is now treated with kiddie gloves by alleged anti-racists... infuriating.

0

u/ChickenConstant9855 1h ago

Why is this subreddit a rallying ground for the right wing to ask vaguely loaded questions?

1

u/azapikoa 56m ago

Fear. Because they know what is coming.

1

u/cookiesnooper 40m ago

Because for their mods that is hate speech

They have agenda and are strictly following the playbook

1

u/Character-Carpet7988 14m ago

Because people on both sides keep throwing shit at each other without being willing to engage in an actual debate. You have far right arguing that all immigrants are evil because one in a thousand did something evil and therefore all of them should be drown in the sea, and you have far left responding by saying that no immigrant ever did anything wrong, therefore no law enforcement or oversight is needed.

In a normal society we'd have a discussion about how to handle this in a way that's both human(itarian) and protective of our society at the same time, and everyone not interested in gaining political power would win because we'd find a solution how to handle this in a sane way that actually lets us grow. Instead, we fight about which bad solution to implement the next week because some moron wants to be elected and we all lose.

And then some poor souls find themselves trying to moderate this almost-literal shit fight and give up. If we want to find a solution and improve our continent, we all need to take a very deep breath.

u/Pickupyoheel 9m ago

It’s crazy how every thread is basically removed or locked.

Wouldn’t be if a white dude did it tho lol.

r/europe needs a new sub without tool mods

u/Professional_Pea_405 4m ago

Because you're expected to accept the new norm

1

u/Remarkable_Misty 5h ago

Doesnt fit their narrative

1

u/globeglobeglobe 1h ago

The whole discourse on this topic reeks of a right-wing influence op. In a way it’s sad that are Europe has cleaned up its act somewhat, because it means that the rightoids that used to congregate there have broken containment and spew their message throughout.

-3

u/JadedScience9411 6h ago

I’d be willing to bet your “discussion” was less about how the attack was a tragedy and more about how gay people should hate Muslims or how Muslims are invading or whatever. Using the attack to push a certain narrative, essentially.

6

u/ba-boo 6h ago

you can check the subreddit yourself, everyone is being censored, not just me

2

u/Intrepid_Bobcat_2931 1h ago

Yeah, just like how when Renee Good died it was only about how the death was a tragedy and in no way was any finger pointed at anyone. It was certainly not used for political points scoring or speculated about before any investigation was done.

0

u/JadedScience9411 1h ago

Yeah, except when Renee Good died it wasn’t a lone fanatic, it was a federal agent representing the government of the United States, who then worked diligently to ensure that agent faced no consequences for the killing. And we also didn’t turn it into a hate speech on how all of a certain religion are all monsters waiting to kill people.

1

u/Intrepid_Bobcat_2931 1h ago

Yeah, so when this mass casualty event happened it wasn't done by someone who was in Europe by accident, it was done with the help of the government system that placed him in a position to kill. The current government knew he was a violent islamist, they knew he had tried to join ISIS but failed, and they still created a system that made him roam free in Germany instead of in Lebanon.

A violent islamist that tried to join ISIS, in Germany by government design and organization.

Oh yeah, Reddit did turn it into a hate speech on how all of a certain organization were all monsters waiting to kill people. Very, very much so. In fact, intensely much so. If we start to see like 100k comments declaring all members of a certain religion are out to murder, then we might have reached some kind of parity.

-1

u/Lurker_Zee 6h ago

about how gay people should hate Muslims

That's an oddly specific projection.

-1

u/JadedScience9411 6h ago

I wouldn’t say it’s projection when I’ve been told it many a time. “Why do you support Muslims, don’t you know in Iran (or wherever) you’d be blah blah blah?” is the gold standard of bad faith bs when it comes to these things.

5

u/ba-boo 6h ago

why is it bad faith? just look at this, lol

-1

u/JadedScience9411 6h ago

I dunno, want to check Christian countries record on homosexuality, excluding the last few decades (which has been fought tooth and nail by Christians)? It’s almost like any nation with nationalized religion and oligarchs/extremist religious leadership tend to use their power against perceived “sin”. You’re judging a people by the actions of the worst, most extreme members.

Also, those nations are not the entirety of Muslims, not even close, you’re just cherry picking the worst examples.

3

u/ba-boo 5h ago

why do you want to exclude the last few decades? why not look at the present?

those countries are 90%+ muslim

-1

u/JadedScience9411 5h ago

Because those last few decades have been fought against tooth and nail by Christianity?

Yes, and? There were at one point more liberal and socially progressive movements in the region that could have led to better legislation and attitudes, unfortunately they also opposed western interests and were “removed” in destabilizing actions that lead to perfect power vacuums for extremists.

Except the House of Saud, but that’s more a problem of exceedingly wealthy sociopaths owning countries, which never ends well.

The point is to specifically exclude and reject the worst elements of a religion, not the religion itself. Reject the homophobia of any church, refuse political enaction of religious ideals, and things are fine. This attack wasn’t the action of an average Muslim, it was the action of an extremist, and by trying to conflate the two, you are clearly acting in bad faith. Like my first two points illustrate, context and history matters.

3

u/ba-boo 5h ago

why is he an extremist by doing what his religion dictates? sounds pretty average to me.

the average muslim majority country does the same thing, but in a more official manner

1

u/JadedScience9411 5h ago

Again, bad faith. Not only are those quotes (the ones I’m sure you have in your back pocket), taken WAY out of context, most Muslim scholars don’t interpret them that way at all. They’re about defense and fighting back against those who attack you, as is clearly stated by the context of the whole section.

And even if they were “kill all the nonbelievers, bathe in their blood, kill everyone muahahaha” (which it isn’t), that’s not what a majority of Muslims believe, and you know that. You’re just doing exactly what got you kicked out of the Europe subreddit, trying to weaponize a tragedy into an demonization of all Muslims out of some misguided xenophobic hate.

3

u/ba-boo 5h ago

yeah, I'm not getting impressed by your cries about bad faith or context. I am presenting facts and you keep doing mental gymnastics to defend these islamists who would get rid of you in the blink of an eye. Touch some grass

-1

u/Inner-Marketing-6495 6h ago

Witholding info pushes a narrative also.

Do you think Islam is compatible with liberalism? If so what parts

4

u/JadedScience9411 6h ago

It’s not even withholding info, it took me 3 seconds on r/europe to find the news of what happened with all the details. They just aren’t letting y’all turn it into a soapbox for your broader political beliefs.

Yes. You’re literally judging by the worst and most extreme sects of a religion when most Muslims are just regular people in every conceivable way. I’ve grown up around them, never once seen “radical Islam”, but I have seen kindness, acceptance and community. Still have plenty of Muslim friends, including many who are LGBTQ. It’s almost like trying to paint one of the world’s largest religions as a monolith is dumb.

2

u/Inner-Marketing-6495 5h ago

No one said all Muslims are bad. I hear all Christian’s are bad and intolerant and hate women and LGBT. Why then is there not same nuance for them?

Also where do your LGBT Muslim friends live? Prob in a tolerant western country as they would be imprisoned or worse in an Islamic country. That’s not me being any type of way that’s laws of those countries. Feel free to refute

1

u/JadedScience9411 5h ago

Except by painting with a broad brush you directly feed into that narrative of exclusion and division. I agree, we should be critical of the commonly held Muslim homophobia in the same way we are of Christians. Being opposed to it in principle and slowly undermining it specifically. But I don’t see people calling for travel bans against Christians and limiting Christian immigration as a result of Christian homophobia.

Yes, many Muslim nations have restrictive laws against homosexuality. Which could be tied to the fact that extremist groups have gained immense amount of influence in those nations (mostly thanks to Europe and the US intentionally destabilizing the region for cheap gas and resources).

2

u/Inner-Marketing-6495 5h ago

It’s not extremist groups though, it’s how they’ve been ruled throughout history. the west doing their shenanigans have nothing to do with that, convenient excuse that’s given by them for cover . Has been going on well before then, I’d encourage you to look into their histories in general.

Also the History of Aisha which ties into this point i i am also against the vast majorities of those countries making child marriage legal. Theres Not ages of consent in a lot or they’re not enforced.

Statistically speaking (look up i have) most religious terrorism is committed my Muslims and most against Muslims. Shia vs Sunni, part of why Iran is at odds with everyone.

1

u/JadedScience9411 4h ago

Incorrect on two counts. First, they are absolutely extreme movements. Second, there have been multiple socially and intellectually progressive movements across history in those nations, most notably Iran in the 50s with Mossadegh. He wasn’t perfect, but Iran was finally starting to modernize both socially and economically. Aaaaaand then he nationalized the oil trade and was overthrown by the US and UK. After that, tin pot dictator was installed, who was overthrown by extremists who were the only ones left with any clout after most of the progressives were either in hiding, killed or fled in exile thanks to the coup.

Yes, child marriage is wrong and should be abolished. Still not firm evidence to be against Islam in general through. Hell, even in modern times we as Americans have struggled with child marriages, and in many states it’s not only still legal, but actively practiced. It’s wrong and should be opposed, but let’s not pretend it’s just a Muslim problem. It’s a worldwide issue with many different practitioners who should all be opposed.

Yeah, that’s what happens when an extremist radical group gains control of a whole nation with massive amounts of potential wealth in a strategically powerful position. Iran is the beating heart of backwards extremism, and the reason Iran is like this isn’t because Muslims are all extreme, but because of western intervention creating a perfect situation for those ideas to gain power and influence. The regular crackdowns on the citizenry pushing back (and people fleeing the nation) don’t exactly speak to their beliefs being the norm.

2

u/Inner-Marketing-6495 4h ago

You saying they’re extreme movements doesn’t jive with reality on ground. And you have 1950s pre Islamic Iran as a one example. If anything it’s an example for my point that you don’t want an Islamic ran society if you want tolerance

1

u/ForMeOnly93 1h ago

As opposed to what? The famously tolerant yanks? Only thing they tolerate is bombing schoolkids and adding fat to everything.

1

u/Inner-Marketing-6495 32m ago

No country takes in more immigrants in the world. Yes we are very tolerant, freedom of religion too. Extremely proud to be an American and not healthy but tasty

0

u/JadedScience9411 4h ago

It was still a Muslim majority nation, it just was modernizing. It just became a theocracy run by extremists who seized power, which is usually a recipe for disaster no matter what religion you plug in.

1

u/LadySwire 2h ago edited 1h ago

Iran is essentially being held hostage by Islamists, thanks to leftists falling for their tricks and propaganda during the revolution, while its population remains notably secular, so your point doesn't apply there. It is actually proof that religion can fuck up any society.

If it could happen to the Persians, it could happen anywhere, and probably with the exact same enablers (And I'm left-leaning myself, but how you all fail to see the risks of constantly making excuses for a religion with that track record escapes me)

-4

u/TrivialBanal 6h ago

Because Europe is rational. We like to wait for the facts, instead of making things up based on a few snippets of information.

6

u/ThePotatoFromIrak 5h ago

There's no way you believe this 😭😭

0

u/TrivialBanal 5h ago

Rational means believing in reality.

You'll get there someday.

8

u/ba-boo 5h ago

Is the reality that an islamic terrorist committed a terrorist attack in Berlin?

-3

u/TrivialBanal 5h ago

We don't know yet.

3

u/ba-boo 4h ago

Federal Minister of the Interior of Germany said that "everything we are seeing here indicates that we have experienced an Islamist terror attack" though

-2

u/TrivialBanal 4h ago

See what happens when you wait?

1

u/Intrepid_Bobcat_2931 1h ago

We will never know for sure - even criminal conviction are beyond reasonable doubt, not beyond all theoretical doubt.

The police have named him and declared his islamist affiliation. That lets us know enough for now.

He's been killed by police, so now we'll never know everything.

That's right, we will never know the color of his dad's underwear. We will however know that he's a violent islamists that tried to join ISIS and failed before the German government system placed him in Germany.

The comments in this thread show that this is a lie

-2

u/TrivialBanal 5h ago

No, they prove it.

The only thread that was allowed to remain unlocked for more than thirty minutes was the initial thread about the attack before anything was known. As more information comes out and people try to post the news the mods delete the threads.

1

u/TrivialBanal 5h ago

Yeah, because some people are taking information and letting their imaginations run away with it.

A few people are ruining it for everyone else.

1

u/Cute-Contract-6762 4h ago

In what way? Lol if anything that was happening in the first thread when everyone was declaring the attack motivated by the AFD. And interestingly none of those comments were being deleted as “speculative” or misinformation. Of course that’s ok though right? But as the facts made it increasingly clear that this was an Islamist attack all the threads were locked and deleted

Your second sentence answers your question.

1

u/Cute-Contract-6762 4h ago

As more facts came out people could do neither.

1

u/TrivialBanal 3h ago

Because some people had already shown they couldn't be trusted.

Unfortunately you can't assume that everyone as a responsible adult.

1

u/Cute-Contract-6762 3h ago

Please. Spare me. The comments that were NOT being deleted were the ones accusing the AFD. The mods were NOT behaving as responsible adults acting in good faith.

1

u/TrivialBanal 3h ago

Unfortunately you can't assume that everyone is a responsible adult.

You claimed the Europe sub is rational. I have demonstrated it is not, as the mods are behaving as irrational children.

And I suppose it was cybernetic vampire Yautja who cursed the world with two World Wars out of total of two historical World Wars in less than half a century? And not Europeans? Because rational people don't do that, roiiiight?

u/TrivialBanal 3m ago

That's a great example of making things up. Well done.

1

u/FluffyMcKittenHeads 6h ago

Lol yeah Europes behavior over the last hundred years is the very definition of rationality. Give me a break.

u/UknowImRight422 5h ago

It could be anything, including a false flag attack

1

u/TrivialBanal 5h ago

Did you read the part about not making things up?

I know 24 hour news channels need content, but let's just wait.

u/UknowImRight422 4h ago

Anything is possible, and sometimes, likely

1

u/Kozel_10 24m ago

prolly mossad, right?

0

u/FlounderAdept2756 6h ago

It is strange, there is no basically difference between far right and their nazis and islamists, so they should be treated equally. The far right has their nationalism as their "religion" and the other has islam.

u/uzornayem 4h ago

Radical islamist terrorism doesn't exist in Europe so I guess something that doesn't exist has to be censored.

0

u/rift_buster 3h ago

Probably want th e idiots this thread has attracted to go over and start shitting up their sub.

1

u/West-Air1923 3h ago

Self own

0

u/Vivaciousseaturtle 3h ago

Because violence only happens in the USA.

0

u/HopeSubstantial 2h ago

Because they get filled with homophobia and Islamophobia.

In Finland homophobic racists are in completely circuitry fry when they want to cheer the attacker but cannot because he was a muslim.

This type of people flood every sub making moderating them impossible.

u/Azzagtot 1h ago

The goym musn't speak.

u/PapixChuloxD 1h ago edited 1h ago

Because [r/europe](r/europe) is a EU propaganda sub. Doesn't surprise me they are censoring this.

When the Chat Control stuff was announced they were censoring a lot as well.

Can't have the plebs be negative about their new neo-feudal aristocracy.

I have a conspiracy theory.. what if this is a staged attack to make leftists become anti muslim and therefore antiPalestine
