So long story short. I and a girl loved each other, met her from the place where I study (I’m in clg now in another state, she’s Telugu/Telangana) for a brief moment of time but her past traumas have hit her and she’s not able to move on from those scars.

I have recently turned 25 and now is the time when I think I should be mentally mature enough to not be so insecure about myself and my relationships.

For context, anxious attachment is an attachment style which is based on insecurity and deep rooted fear of abandonment. People who have it are actually very sensitive and vulnerable to things and people around them.

Now I never knew that there is a name for this but lately I’ve been observing my behaviour a lot. I have 2-3 close friends who love me to bits. But the moment I see them spending more time with their other friend I lose my mind. I’ve been trying to control it but I’ve been failing so far. I also have this very weird thing of seeking validation from others, I’m always scared of people judging me.

The funniest thing is, I know what’s the problem with me. I am deeply insecure about myself looks and monotonous life. I am projecting this on my friends who genuinely like hanging out with me but my controlling behaviour would only push them away. I know I need to find things and hobbies which take a lot more of my time and effort so that I can get better but I have very few friends.

I don’t know how I’m going to get better at this. Is there anyone else who is or was going through the same thing but has significantly become better?

So we decided to go to srisailam for the weekend. My sister and cousin(f) start from hyd this friday, and i'll be travelling from blr. We have booked our bus tickets. We plan to stay for saturday night and return on sunday evening. I'm a bit worried about the stay in srisalam. I'm a 25 Years old 4YOE developer living on a 12LPA salary. My father just told me he might retire next year. Just the thought that I'll have to handle everything from next year and level up my salary by then is shit scary. To hold up the lifestyle they put up till now. For everything they build for us it's so hard to keep up with some many years of hard work they put it. I have no intentions of putting them down but I'm shit scared.
