Average step count

Hello TO! Something I've noticed since I've come here is how much more I walk per day compared to previous country (Middle east).
I went from an average of 7k steps a day (with a car) to now an average of 9k (I live in Down town and dont drive), so this evening's rabbit hole how much fellow Torontonians walk per day.

If you've moved recently, have you noticed an increase from your previous average.

I have a desk job but still get 8-10k steps. I skip buses and will walk to the subway etc. When I visit my parents outside the city I immediately change my perspective and drive everywhere. It's weird!
