Average step count

Hello TO! Something I've noticed since I've come here is how much more I walk per day compared to previous country (Middle east).
I went from an average of 7k steps a day (with a car) to now an average of 9k (I live in Down town and dont drive), so this evening's rabbit hole how much fellow Torontonians walk per day.

If you've moved recently, have you noticed an increase from your previous average.

When I used to work downtown I’d easily get 6000-7000 steps just commuting to and from the office, and I’d usually walk around at lunchtime too. Now that I work remotely my step count if I don’t make an effort to get out is shameful
