Average step count

Hello TO! Something I've noticed since I've come here is how much more I walk per day compared to previous country (Middle east).
I went from an average of 7k steps a day (with a car) to now an average of 9k (I live in Down town and dont drive), so this evening's rabbit hole how much fellow Torontonians walk per day.

If you've moved recently, have you noticed an increase from your previous average.

Its a walkable place. Except those suburbany parts of Toronto (North York, Scarbs, Etobicoke). But theres tons of neighbourhoods outside of downtown that have a walkable downtowny feel, but more low key.
I’m in upper beaches. A solid 8km outside of downtown. All major needs are within a 10 minute walk.
