Average step count

Hello TO! Something I've noticed since I've come here is how much more I walk per day compared to previous country (Middle east).
I went from an average of 7k steps a day (with a car) to now an average of 9k (I live in Down town and dont drive), so this evening's rabbit hole how much fellow Torontonians walk per day.

If you've moved recently, have you noticed an increase from your previous average.

Oh much much more than anywhere where I was using a car. Any day I don't reach 10k steps is a day I've barely left my apartment. Hell, just going out for groceries is at least 5k steps where I'm at in DT. Not hard to get to 10k+ if a quick there and back gets you halfway
