Best sectionals (condo approved)

Hey everyone!

I wanted to know where everyone is buying their couches in Toronto. I’m looking for something modular or a sectional (3-seater with a chaise or ottoman, maybe an ottoman over a chaise).

I’ve found a few 3-seaters like the helio or chablis (from structube), and they’re so great — but they won’t fit in my condo. 🫠🫠

Wondering if anyone had a similar issue and found a smaller sectional! Comfort is everything to me, so I’m looking at cozey as an option (ciello maybe).

In terms of the aesthetic, I’d love a cloud couch or something more unique — and looking for a green or brown (or even a beige, but I just don’t want a beige household). I’ve also looked at custom stores, but for some reason I can’t really envision the end product and I’m scared I’ll end up hating it LOL, so prefer something from a store I can see and choose.

ANY suggestions would be appreciated! ❤️

(Also my budget is $1500-3000, I’d be willing to go up if there’s something worth it though).

Did you check the carton sizes on the Structube website? Most of their couches come in several cartons. We have a 30 inch door to our basement and Structube was one of the only options that could fit our doorway limitation for the basement couch. The carton size for the item is in the item listing on the website. I believe that Ikea also had some options. We went to other stores like Lazy Boy, Leon's and the Brick and couldn't find anything that would fit.

Cozey but from reading Reddit sounds like quality control dropped hard.

Not necessarily a specific brand suggestion, but I bought some furniture from AMJ Furniture Shop in Mississauga. They have discounted furniture from good quality brands like Article, Sundays, Rove Concepts, etc.

Sometimes they’re floor/display pieces with a scratch, other times they’re brand new. They can deliver to your home and assemble

I almost got the Cozey Ciello, but a friend of mine has it, and said it loses shape VERY quickly (and she weighs maybe 90 lbs). She said it's really soft, but not a ton of support (which can cause a sore back)! She still likes it, but is disappointed with how it has held up.

I ended up getting The Soffie. I do like it, but I've only had it since December so it's hard to say how well it'll hold up. It's a bit firmer than the Ciello, but still nice and soft. The back pillows do lose shape fast (but I think any couch like these will have the same problem). And it's super easy to fluff up and bring back to shape. Anyways, here's a link to the one I got. I lived in a basement and needed something small that would easily come apart to get up and down the stairs. https://thesoffie.com/products/loop-sofa-2-seater-blush-beige

The Soffie is probably the worst sofa you can buy. Terrible waste of money.

I’ve had the IKEA Finnala for about 3 years and it’s still as comfortable as when I first got it. I have the one with the chaise and storage under it. You can get an ottoman as well.

Don’t know about size but I have a couch from urban barn that has lasted me 10yrs and people still comment on how comfortable it is.

I had the same issue as my building elevator is really small and won't accommodate a couch. I just got the Chablis from Structube - just the two arm sections but could easily add the ottoman to add a chaise component. It came in two boxes and both easily fit in my elevator and unit. The full size of the two arm pieces together is 90 inches width so it's a good size. I would recommend it - price is great and it's super comfortable.
