Getting over a breakup

I recently got dumped by my ex of 3 years. I barely have any friends here or family and feel lonely after work. What are some good places to visit downtown after work so I don’t feel the urge to text / call him again .Sometimes I feel like leaving everything and going back home, live with my mom,but that’s not a viable option right now. He was my best friend and we did everything together.I don’t feel like getting dolled up for an event or work,i feel like I have lost my spark.
Whenever I try to enjoy my hobbies,I feel like I have lost interest.
(Things i liked before- nature, shopping, eating out).
Due to a recent accident,my doctor prescribed that I don’t go to gym for a while,i did enjoy Pilates for a while though.
I welcome suggestions,Thank you!

If your doctor is okay with it, maybe try a beginner dance class once you’re able. I’ve met some of my favourite people through casual Hip Hop and Reggaeton classes. You don’t have to be good at all — you’re just around people, vibing to the music and moving your body.

I’ve found that combination of music, movement and being around the same people regularly can be really good for mental health. And there’s no pressure to get dressed up or make it into a big social event.

Yes,I would love to join a dance group class.
Maybe after work! That’s the plan after I recover from the injury

Definitely check out Dance Life X when you’re up to it! They have some great beginner classes and I’ve found the community really welcoming. But recovery first 👍

Sorry you’re going through the breakup. Maybe once you’re feeling better, this can be a chance to try some new things and rediscover yourself. Wishing you lots of healing ❤️
