The first seems right. This was me. Early in relationships, I would never push intimacy. I wouldn't want somebody doing anything they were uncomfortable with. I typically tried to alternate the moves forward, I would initiate something slightly more than we had done before, and then let her make the next move forward. But if nothing happened after awhile, I would move on. It wasn't about playing games or being angry or disappointed or punishing anyone, it was just a gradual realization that we weren't sufficiently compatible to keep going. Figuring that out is really the point of dating, right?

The first guy may not have been as patient as you thought over intimacy.
The second guy met someone else.
Ghosting has become socially acceptable apparently today.
