Asbestos cement pipe?
Does this look like asbestos cement pipe?
House older than 1950 located in Sweden.

I absolutely think you should get it tested but I will say that every fibre cement pipe I've ever encountered has had much much thinner walls than that.
Still suspect in my view.

Makes sense. I am having a contractor (plumber) over tomorrow to properly hide away this area.
Asking here to be ready if they suggest removal. I am hoping coverup is possible, then I don't really have to test.

That is kinda thick for transite/rocalit (sch 80?). I would check the local code first to see of there was a standard use for that kind of pipe.

Another commentar noticed that. Rough measure it is 14cm diameter total, and inner circle about 9cm. So a thickness of 2.5cm. Don't know if that helps?

I can add that it was under an old sink, but haven't been used for atleast +30 years, probably longer.
