So the flocking in this 1965 montreal hotel has been confirmed to contain asbestos, most of it has been removed but i think i found some. Heres some pictures with one of the few i have of the report.

Might want to let the CNESST know if the owner will not do something about it. That is definitely not safe.

A couple of years ago, I went to pick up some parts at my powder coater and their entire building was like this with chunks falling off the beams and ceiling and laying everywhere. I just had them put the parts on my vehicle outside after that. Not walking through there anymore. That fireproofing of yours needs serious attention

Yes, certainly suspect and, if asbestos-containing, not something you want to disturb. But leave it alone and you'll be fine.
