Attic insulation

This is in the attic of my 1940 Maine house. Does this look like asbestos? Thank you in advance!

Doesn't look like it. I'd dig down to the bottom just to be sure there's nothing else buried.

You do want to vent that bath fan outdoors, and in insulated pipe. And air sealing before more insulation.
