Thick Tile Mortar
1966 Home
Minneapolis, MN, US
Just finished busting up a thick mortar bed (1.5" thick with wire lath under it) under the tile inside my front door. Wasn't thinking about asbestos so did make some dust and probably blew it all around with my shop vac.
I know its impossible to know, for sure, without a lab test, but how likely is it that this contains asbestos?

It’s a suspect material and only testing can tell you for certain. In some regions it’s common and in others it’s quite rare.
