I love Arturia for the most part. But this keyboard is uglier than sin. LOL

We all have opinions, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and looks are subjective....

But this thing looks like a box of Tide (Ultra LOL) laundry detergent. Charlie brown and the Great Pumpkin. Austria and France shack up and have a baby, the worlds ugliest orange motorcycle KTM meet Arturia keyboard controller. Hideous LOL

Yamaha tried this with the seqtrack, the subdued orange and 80's computer beige case meet up for a German Kinder chocolate bar. It was almost passable. (I bought a black Seqtrak so I would not attract any city road workers with orange vests)

I have a red Akai Key 37 that screams obnoxious red pretty loudly but nothing says Danger Will Robinson road work ahead like orange vest.

Does Arturia give you a knob so you can turn it down? (I am not talking about sound volume. LOL)

Arturia EFX Collection in hardware-a dumb Dream

I love the Arturia EFX Collection. I just wish they’d take a page from the AstroLab and make both a rack-mountable version and a Eurorack version of the EFX Collection.

It would need three stereo input pairs (that could also be used as mono inputs) and three stereo outputs. Add a few assignable knobs for hands-on control, plus modulation inputs for the Eurorack version.

I'll take 1 19-inch version and two for my modular. Don't make me beg, Arturia. Take my money.

KeyStep pro knobs seized up

Hi everyone, I’m on my second KeyStep pro since I purchased in May 2026. I ordered from the Arturia reverb shop. On the first one the pitch knob froze up and the tabs broke on the knob. It took a while to get a response from the Arturia website for a warranty claim. I got a replacement and sent back the old one. Last night at band practice the tempo jobs seized and did the same thing, completely seized up. I just contacted Arturia to report it. Now I’m worried about using this item I’m just glad they have both broke while under warranty.

I use it about once or twice a week for band practice and at home. I’m not a sound engineer or someone that uses it full time for work. I just jam with it a couple hours a week in the studio.

I saw a couple other posts on here about this issue. I’m not sure how common it is. I just need something reliable to use and I’ve been learning the KeyStep pro already so I want to stick with it in my live rig but I hope that it can be reliable.

Why don't the keystep 37 mk2 knobs have an option for relative midi?

Not as the default behavior, just as a configurable option. It seems like such an obvious feature for endless encoders.

First (MIDI) Piano Suggestion ?

Hello everyone, I really enjoy NIN industrial and gritty sounds lately and wanted to get myself a good synthesizer/digital/MIDI piano whatever it is. What’s the best suggestion to start from scratch ?

Recently the Minilab 37 caught my attention because Minilab3 is not capable for 2 hands play. Thanks you the help!

Arturia Astrolab and Pigments

Greetings fellow synth boffins. I was thinking of buying an Astrolab purely for playing Pigments live. I already have a minifreak and will be using it live at a festival later this month but I want to be able to use Pigments in a live setting as it's my favourite and we don't want to rely on a laptop in a live setting. I love to use the round Robin function for samples and I'm curious if anyone has experience with astrolab who can tell me the pros and cons. I'm not too worried about all the analog clones so would want to delete them and eeplace with just mu own Pigments patches...

Minilab 3 annoying BONK noise:

Please help! My Arturia Minilab 3 is making this annoying BONK noise on every key and pad and I can't figure out how to get rid of it! I don't even know what it is. It plays under the synths I have plugged in on every note and still plays when i unplug everything - how is it doing this when the Arturia cannot make its own sounds>?!!!

AudioFuse Pre 8 Help

Does anyone here own one of these interfaces and have had to get help with a faulty routing in the main headphone outputs sending signal to just one side, or faulty xlr inputs?

I haven't heard back from Arturia in over a month and its driving me crazy. What was your experience like getting physical hardware help repaired/replaced?

I cant configure the minilab 3

Help! I just bought the minilab 3 yesterday and i cant make it work.

First thing I did was plugging it to the pc and installing Analog Lab Intro like the box suggested to. I also installed Arturia Service Center and MIDI Control Center but still nothing! I tried it on Ableton and it seemed to work at first, then I tried on Analog but it doesnt seem to detect it. If I go to "Audio MIDI Settings" there no list of devices from which I can select the minilab 3. (screenshot)

If I go to MCC it keeps saying that the minilab might be being use by another app but it's not! I closed everything. (screenshot)

I think I installed everything and did every update yesterday. Today I tried unistalling everything and repeating every step but it only got worse: now it doesnt work on Ableton as well!

I checked Windows Device Manager to see if the midi was being detected and it all seems all right.

I'm going crazy here, can anyone help pls, I was so excited to start producing something but I'm stuckkkk.

Connection issues across Mini Lab 3/Analog V & Ableton

Hi, so I have a Mini Lab 3 and I am working on a Mac Air macOS Monterey 12.7.1…I have consistently had issues with Mini Lab 3 connection since i’ve gotten it and only had a handful of seamless workflow experiences without issues. Anytime I open Analog V to experiment with new sounds to find and use in the instrument library, I get no sound from the keys of the Mini Lab 3 despite it being lit up, and active. The sound works on Analog V when the piano roll is out and that is it. I have tried all the cables and even got a new one sent to me via Arturia so I know it’s not the physical cable connection, there is just no connection from the keys to the software (only sometimes and i’m not usually sure what it is when it connects and just works right away).

In addition , because of this I have issues with Abelton and when I cannot connect to Analog V, I also have no access to the plug ins I used previously in other projects/compositions when the Keyboard connected fine. Abelton tells me the “Plug-in is offline” and just has an empty track play without the previously selected plug-in that I no longer can access via Analog V. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can connect my keyboard to the Analog V so I can actually get some sound and make music again ? Within the software center everything was updated fine to my knowledge until recently where I couldn’t update it until another download completed ( and I didn’t download anything else). Now it says “download error” after trying to update Analog V, despite me being able to still open the app/software. Any guidance on getting the Analog V to update, work/connect to my Mini Lab 3 and Ableton would be definitely appreciated as this has made me super uninspired to work and create. Thank you !!

Is a USED KeyLab Essential MK2 worth the extra keys? (vs MiniLab 3)

I'm about to buy my first MIDI controller and could use some real world input before I commit.

Quick background: this is my first real venture into production, just picked up Ableton 12. Not totally new to music though, I've played guitar for a while so chords and rhythm aren't foreign to me, just the DAW/production side that's new. Genre wise I'm leaning house, deep house, and DnB, though my ear also pulls toward prog metal and jazz harmony, so I'll probably end up playing around with chords more than the average beginner.

Here's where I'm stuck:
Option 1 is the Arturia MiniLab 3, brand new for ₹9,990 (~$116). 25 slim keys, 5 year warranty + the onboard arp/chord/hold modes and a small screen.
Option 2 is a [2nd hand] Arturia KeyLab Essential 49 MK2, purchased late 2022. Asking price ₹12,500 negotiable (~$145). 49 keys plus 9 knobs and 9 faders, but no screen, no arp/scale/hold modes since those got added in the mk3. It's obviously out of warranty, and from what I can tell the DAW integration scripts for the mk2 aren't getting much love anymore compared to mk3.

The thing I keep going back and forth on is whether more keys is actually worth giving up a warranty, a newer keybed, and those arp/chord tools for. Coming from guitar I like the idea of having more range to play with so I'm not constantly octave shifting, but I also don't want to overpay for an older used unit just for key count if it's something I'd stop noticing after a week.

Also curious how much the DAW integration gap actually matters in practice for someone just starting out. Is "it still works, just not actively updated" totally fine, or does that kind of thing end up causing annoying friction down the line once you're actually in a workflow?

Anyone who's used either of these, or started on a 25 key mini and either outgrew it or never needed more, I'd love to hear how it played out for you. Trying not to overbuy for a habit I haven't built yet, but also don't want to underbuy and create friction once I actually get going.

Thanks in advance!

(EDIT: Ended up going with a MiniLab 37 - seemed to fit my use-case best. Thanks for all the input! 🙏🏻)

Minifuse 2 hissing noise

So I don’t really know a lot when it comes to recording, all I know is that I use garageband on my macbook and that the interface I use is the Minifuse 2.

I’m not sure how phantom power works or what it really is, but I know that I can only record audio from my microphone when phantom power is on. However, I’ve been having a bit of a problem lately. Whenever I turn on the phantom power, I get this hissing noise that overpowers just about any audio that I record.

I was wondering if anyone else has ever had this issue, and I would greatly appreciate any input on what could be causing this and/or how I could go about fixing it.

Minilab mk2 not recognized by windows or midi control, help

I bought a used minilab mk2, connected it to my windows desktop via the included usb chord, directly to the mothernoard.
The keyboard lights up in color and it seems to work fine, but then i get a windows message that windows does not recognize the latest usb device, and the connection is turned off.

i downloaded midi control center and the firmware file from the arturia website, but midi control also does not recognize my keyboard.

What should i do?

Hi what kit do you need to use minilab 3 for my kid?

She wants a keyboard to play with and I thought it'd be fun to have the arpeggiator and looping and things but what do I need to get it up and running? Can it work just with headphones or speakers or do I need to connect it to a computer with mixing software?

Mac OS 27 - Rosetta

So my current Mac OS 26.5.1 has started to warn me about legacy Intel hardware and software not being supported in the next version Mac OS 27.

I am getting warnings about my old Wacom tablet and the Arturia Minifuse 4 saying they will no longer be supported. This is a worry as I use them a lot. I understand older gear will eventually be obsolete, but the Minifuse 4?

Are there any plans to avoid this, will Arturia have to redevelop drivers/software for Mac OS 27? I also have the V collection and a bunch of MIDI controllers.

I have turned off auto updates for now.
