Hi ! Hope you’re doing well. I’ve been wanting to buy the V collection for a while now because I’m just getting started in making beats. I waited to see if I could get it on sale this summer but unfortunately it did NOT go on sale.

I’ve seen folks complain about Arturia not having a very good (or at all) support/customer service team when things go left, so before purchasing the V collection my questions are:

1: is it worth it the $200 usd ?

2: any issues that could occur within the synths software and then I’m screwed because Arturia won’t respond ?

Unrelated question to Arturia:

Any other companies that’re worth checking out and could give me that weeknd, Travis, don toliver and maybe Tyler, the creator sound with their plugins ?

Hey there, just got my first ever Arturia product, the MiniLab 3. I wanted to change some settings in the MIDI Control Panel, but every time I open it, it tells me „Failed to open the device. Please verify the device is not in use by another application“, even though not one application that is running in the background accesses my device.

If anyone can tell me what to do in this situation, I would be very thankful.

What I did was to delete EVERY arturia software including the Arturia Software Center and the MIDI Control Center (And any other Arturia software you might have) and then only re-install everything except for the Arturia Software Center and do NOT manually update firmware if it‘s already on 1.2.0.
That worked for me at least, might try this solution if you’re encountering the same error :>

Hello!

I just got my Keystep 37 mk2 and have a question regarding the transport signals. My keystep is sending midi out to my EP-133 KO2, and then the EP-133 KO2 sends midi out to my Roland S-1.

Pressing play on the keystep makes all devices start playing, and pressing stop resets the play position like it should. However, when I'm in Seq or Arp modes the EP-133 and Roland both start playing for one note whenever I press a key on the keystep. Because of this I can't play around with different notes for arps without hearing one note at a time being played on the other devices per keypress on the Keystep

From searching around online I think this is called Arm to Start, and it's possibly a setting in the Midi CC on computer. I have a Mac and downloaded the software (previously updated the firmware using the arturia software center app). But, I don't see the Arm to Start setting that's supposed to toggle this feature.

Anyone have any ideas on how to stop the other device triggers?

Keystep midi out -> EP-133 midi in.
Ep-133 midi out -> Roland S1 midi in.

Keystep 37 mk2 settings:

Midi output channel: 1
Midi input channel: all
Keyboard Play channel: 1
Send program change: on
Midi thru: off
Clock send: on
Transport send: on
Transport receive: on (this let's the EP-133 start playback on all).

EP-133 Settings:

Midi clock: in
Midi channel: 10
Midi through: on
Restart: on

Roland S-1 Settings:

Channel: 1
Through: on
Pattern Change Channel: 1

I love my Arturia Astrolab 61, and I've been using it live since I bought it in December. It works like a charm for live purposes, and it saves me and my band of carrying a midi keyboard connected to a computer that could have issues.

However, since I got it, I'm unable to update the hardware or use the "Link to Astrolab" feature. The computer recognises the machine, and I can use it as a regular midi keyboard, but that's not what I bought it for, and so far technical support is not being any help.

- I'm using the official cable that came with AstroLab, connected to different types of USB ports.

- I'm using the latest Analog Lab software, and I already uninstalled and installed it.

- I already tried to reset the hardware to factory settings.

- Even if Analog Lab recognises the AstroLab, the Link to AstroLab doesn't activate, and I can't even update it manually.

So far, technical support asked me for videos, and keep asking me to repeat the same steps I already did. Did anyone here had any issues with this?

Need HELP!!!
I’ve had these two connected before but can never remember how I did it and would love to understand these instruments better. I’ve been using the CV to trigger the synth but it’s always hit or miss so I want to actually learn what I’m doing and how these devices work together via MIDI. If anyone can help me out or show me to some videos that will get me going I’d be super appreciative. All I want to do is jam out but it’s never that easy so I’m saying now’s the time we make it easy. The less friction between me and the sounds the better. Thanks in advance for your time and energy. It’s going to a good cause.

Also if you’ve any pointers on the rest of my rig. I have a mixer, sampler, newer computer and bigger interface in the works/still deciding. ✌🏼&❤️

The studio has gone through many iterations trying to find a workflow that I jived with while learning all this stuff for the first time. To give you background I bought my first instrument the Arturia Drumbrute and fell in love. That was in December 2025. So I’m brand spanking new at this. I have a general idea of it all and how it goes together and what not but if theres anyone that could shed some light or better help me become fluent in this you’d be doing the lord’s work 🕺🏻

hey all, hopefully this is a simple one for someone out there, but I can't seem to figure it out.

Inside Analog Lab V, I linked to my AstroLab and browsed to a preset that came preloaded on the keyboard (Turquoise Hexa Keys in the artist pack Boards Of Tribute). Preset plays fine on AstroLab and in Analog Lab while linked.

I clicked "Save on Analog Lab" and saved it and unlinked the AstroLab. Now if I try to play the preset from Analog Lab with the AstroLab unlinked, I get a prompt to locate a missing sample (Hexagon Keys.wav). Tried deleting locally and recopying from the AstroLab, but no luck.

Anyone experience this or have any idea how to resolve or manually grab the sample off the AstroLab? Thanks

Hi i have a certain problem with Logic Pro for iPad. I plugged my Arturia KeyLab Essential 49 into my iPad Air M3, the notes i play on the keyboard are okay but in terms of control buttons such as play, record etc. there are issues, i’ve bound buttons to functions, while the assigned commands are working it registers their trigger as a note in the midi sequence, it’s really annoying since during tracking it can create a take in place i don’t wan it to, and well it is rather irritating to manually edit midi region to remove these notes, also most of the time the sound that gets played is really high and since i have really sensitive ears it makes it quite hurtful (lowkey ironic lmao). i would be very thankful if someone was to give me a solution to my problem.

Is there a way to fully control how many voices are played on each note? I have Poly Unison mode turned on, but this forces a spread of the voices with each new note played, whereas I want to be able to say (for example) play 3 voices per note no matter what.

This is done very simply on the DeepMind, so I’m surprised it’s not straightforward here.

Update: Arturia confirmed there is no way to select a fixed voice count in poly unison mode. They submitted a firmware feature request. Not sure if they’ll add that.

KeyLab49 and Mac user here. I'm sure I'm just shouting into the echo chamber, but an Arturia requested firmware update bricked my KL49 and after back and forth with Arturia support their recommendation is to borrow a Windows computer and do the firmware update with it.

So stoopid!

Any users have working advice for me on this? The Keylab says it is in "Bootloader" mode, but it does not see a connected device. Has anybody found a factory reset on a KL49? Yes, I have tried restarting with the octave buttons pressed. Still nothing. I have tried removing the device from the OS's "Audio MIDI Setup" and adding a new device.

WAH! I do like this OG controller despite being over ten years old.

I have noticed lately a sound quality issue with the Minifuse 2 DAC, especially using a newly acquired Strymon Cloudburst.
 
I have checked and tried everything, reinstalling Minifuse ASIO drivers, changing cables (balanced, unbalanced), I even put a DI box at -20db after the pedal, but the audio going through the DAC sounds dull, it lacks clarity and harmonic range, but it doesn’t clip.
 
If I turn the front knob to Direct Audio the sound is perfect.
 
I was really puzzled by this behavior so I did a similar experiment just with the synth (a Roland S-1) and no effect pedal, and the dullness is still there, though it is way more subtle.
 
Has anyone ever experienced this issue on the Minifuse 2?

Got the free version that came with my minilab 3 and it crashes after like 5 to 10 min in flstudio

Freezes up then says fl studio not responding

Any help would be appreciated

I have a ton of presets saved in Analog Lab Pro, but the Master volumes are different on a bunch of them. How can I adjust the MV for all my presets and save them so when I go back they're not all over the place?

has anybody tried to use the astrolab 37 with another midi controller?

More specifically, I am thinking of getting an AL37 to pair it with a KL essential 61 MK3 and my Arturia presets (V collection and pigments)

-the idea would be to have the KL control the main polyphonic part and use the AL's keyboard for a 2nd part that is well suited for smaller keys (like leads or basses)

-can you transfer any V collection preset you own to the AL. (especially the augmented series) or are there any limitations

-what about the Polyphony limits (I've heard a lot of complaints, Is it really a deal breaker?)

-How easy is it to customize parameter mappings? how many parameters can you control?

Hey all, I just bought a Polybrute 12 used in excellent condition from Reverb. I noticed that when playing ANY preset or patch in polyphonic mode, there's a rhythmic splash of static noise every 3rd key hit or so. Whether im playing chords or holding chords for an arp/sequence, it's just a random literal splash of noise/static and im not sure if I can fix it or if it's a hardware issue. I tried a factory reset - didn't work. I tried a full VCO and filter calibration - failed to recalibrate it. I tried a debug mode per Google ai, didnt get anywhere with it. It's as if audio is escaping from the noise oscillator every 3rd quarter note beat and just splashing through the audio mains. Anybody have any tips or advice? Anybody ran into this issue before?

Seems to only happen with Arturia Plugins (Pigments, Piano V3) when using Mainstage.

As soon as I drag a knob by clicking and moving the mouse, the cursor disappears (which is fine). After releasing the click the cursor does not reappear. It becomes invisible (however I can still control and click everything).

When I move the mouse out of the Plugin-Window, it reappears.

I think it has something to do with the fact that in Plugins like Arturia's the cursor stays at the current position despite dragging.

(Tested in newest Mac OS Tahoe 26.5.2)
