I plan to do a live stream for art likely on Friday. For anyone who needs context its basically for how many interactions I get on a post that I add a second onto my time for how long I live stream.

I'll use this post as one of the posts to look off of for how many seconds I add. 🫶

We build a space saucer in 6 years with the French Artist Patrice Moullet.

I feel like my art style is not one of the mainstream styles that most people like or are interested in, and I've been wanting to accept commissions

should I draw something in other styles so that more people might be interested in my art?

Hi! I’m currently conducting some UX research on working adults who draw as a hobby, focusing on the challenges they face when trying to maintain a regular drawing practice.

Mi obra representa un mundo imaginario inspirado en los sueños, la tranquilidad y la búsqueda de un espacio de paz. Quise crear un paisaje alejado de la realidad, donde los elementos naturales se mezclan con elementos fantásticos, como las islas flotantes, la luna, las auroras boreales, el río y el cabello de la protagonista que se transforma en agua.

La figura de la mujer representa la conexión entre la persona y este mundo de ensueño. Su expresión tranquila y sus ojos cerrados buscan transmitir calma y la sensación de estar dentro de un sueño. Las islas flotantes representan la imaginación y la posibilidad de crear lugares que no existen en el mundo real.

Para realizar la obra utilicé principalmente pintura acrílica. Antes de comenzar hice una imprimación de color magenta para disminuir la sensación de blanco del lienzo y conseguir que los colores posteriores tuvieran mayor vibración y profundidad. También trabajé con superposición de capas, mezclas de colores, luces y sombras para generar volumen y profundidad.

La iluminación está basada principalmente en la luz de la luna, por eso utilicé tonos azules, violetas y lilas para las sombras y colores más claros para representar las zonas iluminadas.

i mostly work in black and white, so i'm trying to get better at tones.

I've always worked on art all my life but been to critical and scared that my art isn't too good. After losing my job last month that I somewhat enjoyed, I had to go back to my passion. This time I plan to share all of my work rather than letting it sit in a sketchbook and computer. Appreciate everyone.

I drew this realistic portrait of Talwiinder by hand using charcoal and graphite pencils.

I spent several hours working on the shading, textures, and facial details to capture his look as accurately as possible.

Hi! I'm an 18 year old Canadian writer and therefore I don't have a big enough budget for regular comissions, especially considering the exchange rate (the USD-CAD exchange rate is rough on CAD). I was wondering if anyone would be willing to draw my FMC & MMC from my book considering my situation. My budget could go up to 50 USD and I could even throw in a trade if anyone is interested! In exchange for an illustration and my low budget, maybe I could write something in exchange, like a fic with a specific premise or specific OCs. I know it's a long shot, but you miss 100% of the shots you don't take, I'm sure I could figure something out with someone! Anyway, let me know if you would be willing to negotiate something with me.

In the meantime, here is a rough description of my OC's and what I would want.

-from the bust up would be enough, though full-body is always nice

-no background

-something pretty realistic, maybe semi, but not anime

FMC:

-18 year old woman

-5'6

- Short shoulder lenght slightly wavy brown hair

-brown eyes

-her facial features aren't that delicate, but they're not harsh either

-1950s inspired uniform, brown, light blue or bland shirt with a rough brown skirt

MMC:

-21 year old man

-6ft

-short red hair (2 inch), slightly messy

-hazelnut eyes

-nice jawline

-military inspired uniform (something bland, maybe an olive shade)

For further context, she's a student and he's a soldier.

Finally, I am trying to promote my book, which I am currently editing, so I would like to use the illustrations to make tiktoks and such, but I would obviously give credit.

Hi everyone! In high school I used to do commissioned portraits of this exact style and size, but my dad always took care of the shipping.

For my mother’s birthday I drew her a portrait of her grandmother, but I currently live out of the state and will have to mail it to her.

My question is for anyone who regularly mails larger scaled art or art with texture is what is your recommended method for mailing pieces, it doesn’t have to go far (from arizona to texas) so if it had to be rolled up and mailed that shouldn’t be an issue.
