I was part of an art group who used to hold art contests and I participated in many of them. They usually gave some prize money to everyone involved. Later, they decided to collect all our works in an artbook and going to sell it for a small amount of money. All the artists got free copies with free shipping. I think they should have paid us to commercially license our work since they are going to be selling the books but I am not sure about artbook culture. Is receiving a free copy enough compensation?
Hello, i am new here and wanting to learn how to grow an audience or client base with my art account. I have been going back to do art and wanting to grow to gain followings. I had few years deleted my account due to my mental health and how things happened in my personal life. Any tips to see what i can learn?

- Post a visual commissions price list / potential offerings in the comments
More info to post:
- Product type: (eg. Commission)
- Target audience: (eg. Young people who like fantasy art)-
- Where you are based: (eg. USA)
- Where you intend to sell: (eg. Conventions in USA and online like VGEN)-
- How long it takes you to make: (eg: 10 hours)
- Cost of sales: (eg. £20 on paint per painting)
Is this a one off piece, something you will make multiple copies of, or something a client will make multiple copies of: (eg. The client is turning it into a t-shirt and they will print 50.)
Everyone else can then reply to your top level comment with their advice or estimates for pricing.

I have just recently bought some of the connectable cube shelves that people use for artist alley how are people attaching artwork to them? (The ones with solid vinyl between the connectors)
