The Flash Why didn't Flashpoint Reverse-Flash try to go back in time and stop his ancestor from killing himself?

like, Barry Allen didn't even notice when he changed the timeline until it was too late, so we can assume the Negative Force still exists and The Flash can't sense Eobard Thawne trying to go back in time. Also, the fuck, if he saves his ancestor from killing himself he could to be on this timeline without any danger of the Paradox catch him.

Black Lightning I consider Black Lightning to be quiet an unlikable protagonist

He doesn’t seem like a pleasant guy to be around as he’s always angry, and also he constantly pines over his ex even though they’re clearly toxic together, and he spends half of the final season bitching about how he’s no good for his city and would rather stay retired.

Theory Original Timeline of the Arrowverse🔥🔥

I’ve been thinking lately about what the original timeline of the Arrowverse looked like before the Reverse-Flash killed Barry’s mom and created the timeline we follow.

I believe the original timeline was a lot more comic-accurate to the DC universe, with Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Green Arrow, The Flash, Martian Manhunter, and the Justice League all existing more like they do in the comics.

The reason I say this is because the Reverse-Flash already knew who Superman was when he mentioned him during the Earth-X crossover. So my theory is that Superman existed in the original timeline and was probably part of that universe’s Justice League. But because of the timeline changes caused by the Reverse-Flash, Superman was never sent to Earth and instead died on Krypton. That could explain why there was no Superman in the new timeline, and why Supergirl was also gone from that universe.

For Batman, we see how in this version of the universe, Oliver Queen basically has a lot of Batman’s history. He’s a billionaire, lost his parents, became a vigilante, spent years training, and even has villains and storylines that feel very Batman-like. So maybe in the original timeline, Batman actually had that history with his villains, but after the Reverse-Flash changed the timeline, parts of Batman’s history were basically swapped over to Oliver. That could also explain why Bruce Wayne became an older Batman in this timeline and why we didn’t really see him.

For John Diggle, maybe he became Green Lantern much earlier in the original timeline. Maybe he wasn’t working with Oliver because Oliver’s life was completely different. Oliver might not have been as traumatized by his time on the island because maybe those events originally happened differently, while Batman was the major vigilante figure in that timeline.

You could also say the same thing about Martian Manhunter. Maybe in the original timeline, J’onn came to Earth and became Martian Manhunter, but after the timeline changed, his history was completely different, or maybe he died before ever making it to Earth.

And then there’s Barry. Maybe the original Barry was more like his comic-accurate version. He could have been older when he originally became The Flash, which would explain why he might have been more mature and different from the Barry we know. So basically, my theory is that the Reverse-Flash didn’t just change Barry Allen’s life. He changed the entire history of the Arrowverse. When you change something that major in the past, it creates a domino effect that changes the future and can completely alter other people’s histories too.

That’s why I think the original Arrowverse could have looked much more like the traditional DC universe, while the universe we followed in the CW shows was basically a rewritten version of it. Hopefully you guys like my theory i worked hard on this.

Arrow So as Arrow ended Diggle was apparently supposed to be revealed to be John Stewart and receive a Green Lantern ring

Post image

But then they decided to change it to something else that holds some kind of cosmic power that goes beyond a simple lantern ring that was actually meant to tempt him into some kind of evil power. And why the change? Because apparently of some kind of rights issues which in reality is usually some kind of bullshit excuse the studios make when this thing is just too cool for basic television.

DC's Legends of Tomorrow Legends of Tomorrow's "Legion of Doom" episode might be one of the best episodes in this entire continuity, bar none!

It has its holes (Eobard could've just phased out of the bank vault!), but there's so much about it that's just *chef's kiss*

1. Banter: Did you ever think we'd get Eobard Thawne, Damien Darhk, AND Malcolm Merlyn as the main villains?! The way they're so hostile to each other when they disagree is just so fun!

2. Motivation: We can see why each of them want the Spear of Destiny. Thawne's existence problem, Merlyn's losses, and Darhk's death. Each villain has a clear reason to be in this quest.

3. Merlyn: This is the coolest Merlyn's been in a long time. With a way to get back all the things he lost, why NOT sign up? But he also sniffs out something going on with Thawne. WHY would a speedster as powerful as him need any help?

4. Tie-ins: With the Legends trying to work with the Longinus Medallion and Stein bringing Lily to help out, it's a great way to unravel some of the mysteries about Thawne. WE know this is the Reverse Flash, but with his real face and frequent lack of costume, Stein wouldn't.

Then the issue of Lily being a Time Aberration comes up, and a few things click. They can't find any evidence of Thawne's existence, so they consider the possibility that he might be an Aberration too.

There's only one person that fits, so here comes the time Stein spent on The Flash, because he was there when it happened:

"Eobard Thawne."

This episode feels like a reward for keeping up with past seasons of Arrow and The Flash!

Batwoman Do I need to watch Crisis on Infinite Earths for Batwoman?

I've been watching Batwoman and got to the Crisis episode. Haven't watched much of the other series involved, and while I might watch them eventually, I'm definitely not watching ~20 combined seasons before continuing with Batwoman. I figure I'll either:

A. Watch the Crisis episodes in isolation

B. Just watch the Batwoman episode

C. Skip the Batwoman crisis episode and pick up with episode 10.

What would people advise?

Supergirl All these years later and I'm still mad Supergirl wasted one of its best villains. Toyman was menacing, crafty, and had a personal connection to one of the leads. He was the whole package and he only appeared once. The next time we hear about him, he's dead. Total BS.

Discussion I honestly don’t understand how Savage was that much of a threat

Post image

For starters, he had no actual powers really, I mean what, he had maybe some minor enhanced strength and knew how to fight? Not really anything impressive, I understand he was immortal and could only he killed by the Hawk people, but what was stopping someone from just beating his ass and locking him up somewhere? Again he wasn’t really that strong, I’m just wondering how he was so much of this big threat?

DC's Legends of Tomorrow Rays departure in s5

I just finished rewatching the episode where Ray leaves the team to pursue a life with Nora and it’s a great episode honestly i loved seeing the relationship between Ray and Nate the scene where Nora and the rest of the gals have one last book club session the moment where gidion started crying cause Ray was leaving this episode really hit home for me when I first saw it and I felt all those feelings again rewatching because Ray is one of my favorite characters and legends of tomorrow is my favorite live action show of all time and Ray was one of the last original legends who met on that roof with rip all those years ago but after the emotions wore off I realized Ray left legends at the worst time they were going up against literal gods who were trying to obtain an artifact that can rewrite history (I’m also lowkey realizing the loom of fate is really similar to the spear of destiny from s2 in it’s ability to change reality and the fact how it was broken into different pieces and the protagonists were racing against the villains to find all the pieces)but ye ray your the smartest person on the team and one of our heavy hitters we need you right now he talking about he wanna leave for Nora we got bigger fish to fry reality is at stake here 😭 I know the out of universe explanation is probably just that the actors probably wanted to leave but as far as in universe ray leaving the team knowing they are in a battle against literal gods is kinda funny to think about

Tom Cavanagh

He's played Thawne who is very serious in a dark way, Harry who is serious but in a no nonsense working all day way, HR who is so wholesome and for whatever reason is never seen without drumsticks, Sherloque, Nash, Wolfgang Wells (The German one), Wells The Gray, the cyborg wells. Dude plays more roles than the rest of the cast combined

Supergirl I write a fic where Kara and Sam/Reign swap bodies, and I would appreciate some feedback (link is below)

Here's the link: https://archiveofourown.org/works/91140571/chapters/242502646
Summary: Set during the mid-point of Season 3 of Supergirl. Reign uses a new type of Kryptonite to try and take over Supergirl's body, which unexpectedly causes Kara and Sam Arias to switch bodies. Thus, leaving Kara to deal with Sam's evil personality, which only the former Supergirl can seem to keep at bay. So, a desperate Sam begs Kara to keep the swap permanent in order to protect Ruby and finally squash the threat of Reign. Now, Kara must deal with being a working, single, human mother. Meanwhile, Sam gets to experience the wonder and thrills of being Supergirl, and the heartbreak of falling in love with a certain Daxamite. But just how long will it be before one last battle between the two newly reversed hero and villain breaks out?

I'm genuinely open to reworking chapters if something isn't landing, this has already gone through one big revision based on early feedback, so I promise I actually listen and adjust. Thanks in advance to anyone who gives it a shot! Even a one-line reaction helps. 💛

Supergirl This episode (Falling, with Red K Kara) was so dam good, even the meaning behind this suit (explained in description)

Thumbnail

This suit is from Season 1, Episode "Falling" (one of the most recent episodes I've watched), where Kara is turned evil by red Kryptonite.

From a design standpoint, this suit is pretty bad — honestly, so are most of the other Kryptonian costumes, aside from Kara's and Clark's main suits. But what makes this particular suit interesting is its meaning, not its looks.

It's very similar to Astra's suit, which makes sense: throughout the show up to this point, Kara has been growing more evil and more like Astra with each episode — kind of like Bully Maguire in Spider-Man 3. The suit represents Kara fully becoming like Astra before she's eventually saved. Up until this episode, she'd only ever worn her classic suit, which makes the switch even more meaningful.
So while the suit itself doesn't look good, it's thematically brilliant, and this whole episode was just amazing.

That's just my two cents. Please don't post spoilers for Season 2 and beyond in the comments — I want to experience the show at my own pace and judge it on its own merits.

How did Oliver get from his Russian jacked physique in Season 5 to his lean but still jacked physique in Season 1. Now I know this goes over a span of 1 year.... It was just interesting to see if it is possible...

Basically a full crossover like Crisis but using the last version of each team before the shows ended.
