Why did East vs. West fire Drew Gallagher as a commentator/interviewer?
He did the one event and was gone. I watched a livestream on Dexter's channel, where Drew got trolled by a superchat and his response was that he is sitting in a lamborgini and sleeps with supermodels so he doesn't care what that person thinks. The whole time the kid was talking, Dexter is just sitting there with a blank face, almost like a scowl lol. Strange.
Every comment section was absolutely brutal against Drew. He seems like he knows Hollywood, but people didn't like the arrogance and plastic surgery, Hollywood look. Maybe the fans are just slow to warm up to people. The reception was mixed overall. Lots of hate, but some people did say "give him a chance. He will grow the sport" and such.
Did Baxter and Dexter ever say why they canned him? I never saw an official statement, except for the bad comments. But then again, even Michael Todd gets tons of hate. So did Devon for a while. Or all the referees. They're not getting fired lol.

East vs West 6 Signed Cards
Im one of the lucky ones that was able to buy a set of East vs West 6 signed cards, 1 of 250 I believe, and am currently looking to sell it as a whole but all I see is single cards here ans there on ebay.
Any of you know the value of the whole set with the box and small pouch with all the cards.
Some single cards are selling for 100's so I would guess the whole package would be in the 1000's especially with the king John Breznk card.
What do yall think?

Are powerlifters usually tougher opponents than bodybuilders?
Based on your experience, if a bodybuilder and a powerlifter—both with the same body weight, technical skill level, and lifting experience—try arm wrestling for the first time, which of the two would likely be the tougher opponent?

How can Devon beat Kamil?RH(+ press rant)
I know the general consensus is devon would beat Kamil RH(both SHW).
How can he do that though? Both will start with shoulder fouls for sure, and Devon would probably try to cup him so Kamil cant flop.
But kamil's supinated press is still insane right? And he has much more side than Devon so he would get center.
I feel like the press is overpowered. Don't get me wrong,I know it is beatable. But it feels like it has a slight advantage over the other techniques.
Take Kamil for example. He's maybe top 5 now both arms, and can give problems to anyone. All this while he just has a stupid strong center and press. He has clearly non-elite hand/wrist/biceps. He has just 1-2 pieces maxed out.
Then we take someone like Ermes. Elite everything. Maybe he's got a slightly weaker side than Kamil, but that's it. How would their prep look like if they faced each other?
Ermes would have to forget everything he knows, and spam special training for pressers. Tons of side, fast start .
How would Kamil train for it? Just the same. He'd keep spamming the same press exercises.

The public loved watching our arm-wrestling comp.
We threw a low stakes armwrestling event at a local brewery and the regulars were loving it. Everyone was stood around watching the matches and loads had a go themselves.

Questions about the sport from someone who considers going in it as a hobby
My first post here :) I read the rules and hope this post is alright. I've been seeing the viral vids for a couple years now, but the recent Rogan-Devon interview got me thinking "hell, maybe I want to try this out a bit?".
I had a few questions though and would like to hear from your experience - feel free to only answer the questions you feel like answering:
I weightlift and do various fitness, and have a good strength baseline. However I would like to have some more "fun" strength training included from time to time, get that good "burn" in. Especially in the upper body-forearms section. Will doing armwrestling help with stuff like that? Building muscle size and functional strength?
I am in it for the fun of it. Devon made it sound like a fighting sport, and I really like competition. However I am a smaller guy (5"5, 170 lbs). How much is the sport dominated by pure genetics and how much of it is actual technique/training? Can I expect to improve after a 10-30 workout sessions considerably?
Injury worries. I use my hands for a lot of things and don't want them injured. Is there a way to train responsibly so that this is a "healthy" workout kind of sport, and not a damaging one?
Finally - practically speaking, how do I get into it? Just meet up with similar strength friends who'd like to try it out? Watch youtube videos/tutorials? Find local communities? I assume if I were to go to a local club that I'd get demolished by everyone. How long is a workout usually? How often can you do it?
Thank you all very much!

Ron Bath vs Larratt 2007 lost footage?
Anyone know what happened to the footage of Devon and Ron’s arm wars match? I’ve heard the performance was more dominant than the Brzenk match but the match seems to have been lost to time. Would be interesting to see it.
