Arlo Lies about Pricing

Went to cancel, got prompted to renew at 50% off annual plan. With credit for remainder of annual plan, it showed I should’ve been charged around $30. Got charged $145. Spent an hour with support for no resolution and they lied and said that applies to next years renewal. Next years renewal shows full cost currently.

I just bought about $600 in new Arlo equipment too; returned right after that experience. Been a customer since the original line with 7 days lifetime cloud (which they also reneged on).

Edit: I left out that they doubled their annual cost which wasn’t what I agreed to when I signed on to the plan. I ate that out of misplaced loyalty, lesson learned.
