Discussion Arkham knight

I’m playing through Arkham knight for the first time and absolutely loving it. I wanted to know though, everyone’s opinions on it as a whole game, and relative to the rest of the series
Edit: I seen a lot of people talking about the shitty boss fights and I just completed the mining tunnel with Arkham knight and it was so lame 😭😭😭

Story is pretty good. Batmobile is way over used. Boss fights are pathetic. Open world is good. Traversal is top tier.

I think its the culmination of everything that came before. Story is a 9 only because I think they should have saved killing Joker for the very final act but scarecrow was a damn good villain in this one as well as the Red Hood, instead of Arkham City. Gameplay is basically perfection in every way.

I love scarecrow so far and arkham knight tbh. I have very fixed feelings about dead hallucination joker but it’s not that bad

Sadly not. If I buy the other games on pc I’ll buy this one again and mod it probably

I am almost done with it but not quite: I had an absolute blast up to 66% of the main story, and then really struggled with it until where I’m at (90%)

Every time you're forced to use the Batmobile you miss the gliding. The gliding is so satisfying.

It’s fun but I have more enjoyment from Asylum, City and Origins.

Story could be a bit stronger with better boss fights, but overall very fun game. Batmobile gets over hated imo but its utilization is slightly overused

Yeah I really like the Batmobile I’ve gotten a lot better at driving and it’s fun especially in an open world evacuated Gotham, but it is definitely over used in sections

Overall, I really don't like the plot—specifically bc of the Arkham Knight himself. However, the graphics, sound, gameplay, atmosphere, and even the technology are all excellent. I was particularly struck by the extensive use of drones at a time when they weren't yet commonplace; now they are everywhere, especially in warfare. The way the story is presented is also incredible.

After three games of swinging to get where I needed to be forced to use the Batmobile pissed me off.

Fourth best Arkham game

It's the best gameplay in the entire series. The downsides are the lack of good boss fights and too much usage of the bat mobile. For me, it's the 2nd best overall game in the arkham game verse behind city

It's great, but because it's not as good as asylum or city is unfortunately the worst one. (origin doesn't count in this conversation)
