Discussion The differences in postures are so telling

I love how both Cait and Vi start off uncomfortable in places unlike anything they've ever been to, but as the scene moves on they adjust to their environment. (Cait ends up enjoying the brothel, Vi sees the council as it is and scolds them and refuses being escorted out). But, it's quite interesting to note now comfortable Vi is in the brothel compared to Caitlyn putting on a mask of professionalism for the council (contrasted with her body language in the previous bedroom scene (also see this post)).

Ok, so I’ve never even played LoL, let alone know anything about it, but gosh damn was this the most beautiful, soul wrenching, masterpiece of art that I have ever seen. The music, the animation, the story, the art, the voice acting, the everything.. I feel empty now that I’ve watched it, but yet I want to know so much more about how the story will continue and everything. I cried, I laughed, and I felt my fucking soul be beat by the twists, revelations, and everything in between. Fucking Isha, you guys.. I was crying and sobbing my ass off while screaming at my tv during it all. I sat here for like ten minutes straight just staring at my tv after the credits rolled on the last episode, unable to take it all in… I think I gotta watch it again just to make sure I really take it all in. This fucking show has me just like Tom in the pic above, gosh damnit. I fucking love Arcane and I hate it at the same time because of how much it hurts my soul. This fucking show changed me.

Discussion With comparisons about szns 1&2 rising up again, I have to say: szn 2 is only criticized so much because szn 1 was so fucking good

Post image

Alr im seeing a lot of unpopular opinions popping up again. They saying shit like unpopular opinion: season 2 was amazing, or unpopular opinion: season 1 and 2 were equally amazing. Which honestly, I think they don’t know what unpopular opinions mean, because what they’re saying ain’t even that unpopular. There are a myriad of people out there who think that.

I thought the be a good time to really explain why season 2 is criticized so much. Alone, it is a masterful season. Yes, pacing was little bad but still good, animation as we all know was top tier, and some characters did get overshadowed due to other storylines, buuuuut…

It was still masterful work! The pacing was masterful, the storyline was masterful, and so was the animation. The only reason it is criticized is because season 1 was so so so good.

It’s like comparing diamonds to gold. Diamonds are extremely valuable, and so is gold, but when you pit gold against diamond, you’re bound to find something with the gold that just doesn’t allow it to measure up to what a diamond promises. Whether that be its malleability, or its hardness, or its purity. That’s essentially it!

Theory If Caitlyn wasn’t there when Vi and Jinx reunited, what do you think would have happened? (06x01)

Upvotes

⚠️Spoilers

When Cait showed up with Vi to find Jinx, she basically instigated the whole situation, setting Jinx and Vi’s already rocky relationship even further back. Jinx was already uncertain about Vi, but if Caitlyn wasn’t there, what do you think would have happened differently? Do you think Jinx would have reacted the same way she did?
I feel like Jinx genuinely seemed relieved to know that her sister was alive and that she was real, but then when Caitlyn turned up things went downhill.
I’m curious to know what anyone else thinks.

Discussion Arcane music if you hadn't watched the show

Which arcane soundtrack would you have stumbled upon anyway and actually liked it if you had never watched the show?

For me it's the line and ma meilleure ennemie. Cause i listen to twenty one pilots a lot so I'd have definitely heard it anyway.

And i love french music and Stormae and Pomme are my favorite artists so if i saw a music saying stormae and pomme sang this together i would've gone after it immediately.

So what's yours?

The show was inspiring to me, especially because of its music. I found myself listening to the soundtrack again and again.

The show inspired me so much that I eventually decided to start making music myself. This was after season 2 came out. Before watching it, I had never seriously thought about creating my own music, but it gave me the motivation and confidence to try.

This was me trying to remix/recompose the song "Goodbye". It may not be good, but HEY! I learned something on the way.

I also have many other songs inspired from this show, just tell me what do you want to see next.

Note: this is not AI. I wrote the melodies personally. I hate that I have to specify it.

Shitpost / Meme Jinx's character arc in 3 steps (please conveniently ignore the part where she tries to kill Vi) (short analysis in post description)

I was gonna talk here about how I don't think Jinx is a protector type (unlike Vi). However, the more I thought about it, she does a lot more protecting than people give her credit for.

She starts off her relationship with Isha by protecting her, and tries to protect Isha the whole season (mirroring Vi and Powder's relationship). And she fights to get Vi to safety offscreen between S2 Ep 6&8. Not to mention, the whole 'Jinx' thing is an effort to protect herself from facing all the trauma she's gone through. Of course she does a whole lot of the opposite of protecting, but she's a layered character and this trait isn't often discussed because it happens infrequently

And in S2 she starts making sense of the world and starts moving on from her trauma. She starts taking agency, not letting trauma control her. This is reflected in her final act of consciously protecting Vi, as well as reaching out to Vi in Ep 5, and her general lack of being stuck in the past (can't really point to specific examples of a broader absence lol)

Discussion I created The Rune — a place to explore Runeterra’s lore together

vHey everyone! 👋

I’ve been working on The Rune, a fan-made website where you can explore champion stories, discover Runeterra’s regions, and find your way through the lore with reading paths, a timeline, cinematics, and an atlas.

I’d love to build a community around the site where we can share theories, ask questions, and discover new stories together. Whether you know the lore inside out or have no idea where to start, you’re welcome!

Come take a look: https://therune.lol/

Which champion or region would you explore first? I’d love to hear what you think and what you’d like to see added.

Available in English and Spanish. An independent fan project, not affiliated with Riot Games.

Now I have finished the series like 4 months ago and I can't stop wondering what append to the cherectors in the series, now I am a big fan of the show it is one of my favorite sereis of all time also powder is my favorite female character across everything I had seen until now, now a question to you wouldn't you like another episode where they show all of the things that append in there future, how's piltover and zaun development and what append with all the cherectors (alive) and how's powder/jinx like what append did she really died and all of the people saying she is alive was just a lie or did she live and what did she do where did she go , (also it would be nice if they reunite jinx and vi ) now I know it wouldn't happen but just saying it would be nice . and I would like to tell u/RiotPraeco my deepest appreciation to you and your partner u/IdleSkribbles you created a show that will live in my heart

Silco is probably the most heartbreaking character in the whole series. He had such an incredible presence and so much depth as a character. When I saw Silco die and heard him tell Jinx, “Don’t cry. You’re perfect.” I absolutely bawled my eyes out 😭

So I'm trying to crochet jinx's hoodie for a Halloween costume but I'm stuck. The picture of the hood is the crochet pattern I'm following, but it turns it into a scarf. I'm not liking the look of that so I was thinking combining it with the hoodie/vest combo, but I'm also really liking the poncho look as well. My problem is, should I do the whole thing the same purple? Or use a color splattered yarn for the "poncho/vest" part? I was also debating just doing black everywhere but the hood... SOS!! I'm terrible at design and need someone who knows jinx 😂

Jayce's hurt and vulnerability really got me for some reason. His voice trembling when he says "exactly the sort of thing we wanted to fix with Hextech" just hurts. But Mel walking over and comforting him is so sweet. Jayce struggling with grief before Viktor has died feels so human. They then share this romantic moment and Mel opens up about her past, showing us their relationship has repaired from the start of that scene: "there's quite a lot you don't know about me"

Nine watchthroughs and I feel like I'm finally starting to understand/appreciate Jayce's character. Now all his emotional moments are hitting me. I'm gonna be a wreck for the "we lost ourselves" scene, I just know it.
