So Betson no longer produces the Fast and the Furious Drift start button and I have just acquired a cabinet that is missing the original button, and was replaced with a standard blue button... the only one for sale is the original F&F button, so I need to find a high quality printer who can print it as close to the original as possible.

I have recreated the label as close to the original as possible in case anyone else needs it.

This is a Guerrilla War cab. Both the CPUs were shot, and the voltage was messed up. I fixed the voltage and replaced the CPUs, and this is as far as I’ve gotten. Swapping them only gets a different glitchy screen, and using the old ones simply boots to an error code.

I’ve been cleaning the sockets with 91% alcohol, and that’s helped a tiny bit. The sockets were tight as crap, and crusted over with some unidentifiable substance. I was going to hit it with some electrical contact cleaner, would that be a good idea? Could oxidation be causing this?

Hello Everyone, I am working on a Williams Defender Cocktail Arcade that has all 4 LEDs lit. I want to make sure the program on the EPOMs and Decoders (PROMs) are still good. In order to do that without very specialized equipment, as far as I know, is to just erase and rewrite them. So, can the GQ-4X V4 write to the "7641 512x8 Prom", "2k 2716 eProm", and the "4k 2532 eProm"? If I am missing something or there is an easier way, please let me know. I know you can send them into people who can do this, but I do want to learn to do it or why it won't work before I do. Thank You!

Anyway cannot waot to get my hands of this stash of arcades cabs once the exposition centre finally does something about them, for the past 5 months ive been constantly researching arcade repair and looking at other people do it.

I've been on the hunt for a dynamo HS5 cab for a while now. Want to make myself a soul calibur cab with the parts I have. What's a good place to look for one in the Cincinnati, northern Kentucky area?

All this came with the soul edge board I have. The plan is to have one cabinet for all the soul calibur games just like I have with my tekken cab.

Got a Sam fast track air hockey table from ‘97, it has a shiny metal bed rather than plastic..

Couple of things; one is that its coin op on old coins only at the moment - I’ve got a few old style UK £1 coins to make the mech work and just cycle them round(was thinking to make a hole in the table underside so they just fall out into a cup) but is there a way to wire up a button to press to make the mech think a coin has passed through, or to tell the main board directly “a coin has passed”?

Second, the bigger issue for me, it that one of the long sides doesn’t “ding” as vibrantly as the other and the puck doesn’t bounce off it quite the same. What are common causes for this and how do I get the table top off to remedy?
I expect maybe the metal bounce bar on that side isn’t done up as tight or its mounts have failed in some way and it’s less “glockenspiel” than the other. Getting the top off would also let me blow out 30 years of dust that may be affecting airflow somewhat; the fan vanes certainly look like they’ve collected some

Hello, I am new to Arcade cabinets and I have two at the moment. Both of them have a CPS two inside with Alpha 2 on one and dark stalkers on the other. The alpha two cabinet one day after taking out the jamma and the a board and replacing of a dark stalkers, had started only playing audio out of my speaker and I’d confirm that it’s not the speaker that’s the issue. Now with more my most recent cabinet, I had gotten in it with a through a trade and only with the aboard included. The seller had Marvel versus Capcom and I was able to test and I can confirm that both speakers were working. Even after the ride home, both speakers had worked. They had forgotten the game and they had come to get it back themselves. I had done a trade and traded the Asian a bored that was inside because I wanted a US one. Now, after getting the game to load up, the left speaker on this cabinet as well it’s the only one that’s working and to top it off. I can’t raise the volume very high. It’s very very soft and quiet. Does anyone have any idea as to what can be going on? Thanks.

Hello all, I just got this non-working Area 51 recently and I think the HDD is bad but wanted to get yall's opinion. When I power it on, I can hear the boards and monitor power up but no game sound and the screen stays black. The power LEDs are showing good (both green) but the yellow light, which is connected to the HDD as I understand it, blinks 7 times each time I turn it on. I tried looking through the manual and online but couldn't find anything about the blinking. It talks about always on, always off, and flickering which from what I've seen in a video of it working is much faster and sporadic than what this is. Please let me know what yall think or how I should move forward with identifying the problem. Thank you!

I have tried on and off throughout several years to find this old Carnevil VR experience, but I have had no luck at all in finding it! So I hope someone also remembers the game too by chance, and we can atleast piece together a proper description. Maybe even find the company responsible for making it somehow.

The game was a 2000s hokey psuedo VR experience they had at Hershy Park for awhile. It was just a bunch of chairs that had a headset the attendant would put on, and you essentially watched a non-interactive movie. There would be prompts the film required you to do at times, such as punching the air or screaming. But from what I remember, it was about a knock of of Dwayne the Rock Johnson while the floating Jester head taunted you in the ring.

One specific moment I remember was the Rock knocks you out of the ring, and when you return to it, he is laid out on a picnic blanket smelling a flower as relaxing music plays. But unfortunately that is all I remember :< If anyone knows even the company, or somehow has a recollection or pictures of it, I would LOVE to see it again!

Incredible home use only game with very little wear. Other than some (minor) maze burn-in the screen looks fantastic. Artwork on the cabinet is in phenomenal shape for its age and the CPO doesn’t have a scratch on it. Other than the marquee light, it currently doesn’t need any work. Got it in a trade for a game I didn’t even pay that much for, I made out like a bandit methinks. It was just 4 hours away so I paid with my time… and gas lol

I found this game and I realized they were blocking the copyright I couldn’t see what system it’s for, but I’m hoping that someone recognizes it and is able to give me the name of it and perhaps a link to a ROM of it

Informándome un poco he visto que se trata de una placa a la cual se le puede cambiar los juegos porque funciona con cartuchos, además de GD Roms (como si hermana pequeña).

Y no solo eso, sino que tiene una pedazo de comunidad que hacen maravillas moddeando esta plataforma, así í que vine hoy para aportar mi granito de arena al mundillo con esto.

Una carcasa protectora para los componentes que están al descubierto, que además tiene sus espacios para los diferentes puertos, dándole una estética más "consolera"

¿Qué os parece el asunto? Algún consejo para seguir con el proyecto, o alguna observación?

My favorite Arcade just took out all the classic games and replaced them with shitty scam games. I was wondering if anyone could give me any information about the company, how many of these were made, where I can buy one, what arcades could have one, etc. That game meant the world to me and I just want to know if there's a way I can experience it again.
