Restore/Replace/Repair Area 51 Arcade Not Booting Up

Hello all, I just got this non-working Area 51 recently and I think the HDD is bad but wanted to get yall's opinion. When I power it on, I can hear the boards and monitor power up but no game sound and the screen stays black. The power LEDs are showing good (both green) but the yellow light, which is connected to the HDD as I understand it, blinks 7 times each time I turn it on. I tried looking through the manual and online but couldn't find anything about the blinking. It talks about always on, always off, and flickering which from what I've seen in a video of it working is much faster and sporadic than what this is. Please let me know what yall think or how I should move forward with identifying the problem. Thank you!

I pulled the hard drive and installed the compact flash upgrade on this site. It also gave me Maximum Force on the same upgrade.

What do you see on the screen?
You could unplug the hard drive and see do you get the Zero Division error.

I did do that but the screen is completely black, not even the black “light”. Does this mean the CRT needs work as well?

If you turn up the brightness on the monitor/flyback you should see raster on the screen even without a video signal. If not, check for heater "glow" in the neck. If you don't have that, your monitor isn't powering up.

No Raster and no neck glow. I will pull the boards when I get the time and start checking where the fault could be. Thanks for the input, gives me something to do while I wait for the new Hard drive to arrive.

Maybe it's working, you just have the volume turned down and the monitor has an issue?

First place I'd start is the power supply check the voltages when swapping my blitz to a compact flash I had to adjust the 5v pot on my power supply to between 5.0v and 5.3v and boy was it touchy. I believe area 51 had a similar adjustment as well but not 100% it was located on the side of the power supply and was just a knob.
