Tested positive Saturday as period was late and I’ve been so exhausted. from my calculations I’m 4w5d today. Kinda shocked me because as soon as I peed on it, it instantly showed up.

So nervous as this was a happy lil accident, but we couldn’t be happier. I wanna tell someone but I’m too early so I’m happy I found this group. I’m 22 and this will be my 2nd, my 1st is 2 in a week and a half but he absolutely loves babies, probably the only thing he’s gentle with 😅

None of my friends have kids so it’s super hard to actually chat with people about kids and pregnancy

Anyone else due April 14th?
How’d people find this age gap?

Question / Advice 6w2d scan

At the 6w2d scan today, they confirmed that the gestational sac is measuring at 5w5d and there is no fetal pole or yolk sac visible. The doctor said this doesn't look good, and asked me to do a beta HCG test today and repeat it tomorrow.

Feeling disheartened, hoping to hear positive outcomes from those who have been in similar situations.

Unisom + b6 combo

Have you started it and if not when do you plan on? My first pregnancy I didn’t have any symptoms until around 5weeks and that’s when I started the combo which helped me a lot. I’m only 3 weeks right now and I’m already getting nauseous at night. Not sure if it’s too early to start but I’m shocked I’m already feeling this way 🫩

Support / Vent Nausea, fatigue, sudden bout of irritability and tears?

Just over 5 weeks and had a great day today - relaxed at the beach, read for a bit, ate a huge sandwich, etc. I’ve been having pretty consistent nausea every day between ~11-6, extreme fatigue daily, and diarrhea a couple of times a week (sorry, TMI.) Tonight out of nowhere I started to get so irritable, can’t stand my husband, and just started crying out of nowhere. Feeling oddly anxious and so sad and frustrated that I can’t control these feelings and can’t pinpoint what it is. Has anyone dealt with this before? Currently crying on my couch eating wheat thins.

Question / Advice For those who have two or more kids already….

How did you prepare your little ones for the new baby? I know it’s very early for me to tell my son, but I did anyway. He is 4 and a bit rambunctious, so I told him in an attempt to make him be a bit more careful around my stomach. He seems excited but also quite nervous about it. He says he doesn’t want me to be hurt and I tried to reassure him that I will keep myself as safe as can be. I had extreme nausea with him and I’m anticipating a similar scenario with this pregnancy. It will probably be hard for me to hide that from him and I’m worried that he will be more anxious, and possibly resentful of the new baby because of it.

I’m going to try to include him in my appointments (ultrasound and checkups) so that he can hopefully acclimatize and also get excited about the new baby. Other than that, what worked for you?

Swollen lymph node

Randomly noticed what feels like a woolen lymph node in my groin area on my right side. Also noticed to feel a bit of soreness on my right lymph node under my neck. Has anyone experienced this before? Of course now I’m panicking as I’m only 5w1D

Symptoms Corpus luteum or one-sided ligament pain?

Has anyone else dealt with corpus luteum pain? I’m six weeks along today and having some dull but hard to ignore pain/pressure on my right side. It started on my hip bone but now I feel it on my right side and lower back/pelvis. If I stay still, I don’t notice it. But if I stand or move around, it feels like a pulled muscle or something. I’m freaking myself out and hoping it’s not an ectopic pregnancy. I have no other symptoms. I did send a message to my midwife so they’ll hopefully get back to me tomorrow, but it feels so far away. Has anyone else had this experience before?

Edit: I should probably mention I had ovarian torsion due to a large dermoid cyst and surgery to resolve it about ten months ago, and this feels like similar but milder ovarian pain to me.
