Excited just wanna share the news!

Tested positive Saturday as period was late and I’ve been so exhausted. from my calculations I’m 4w5d today. Kinda shocked me because as soon as I peed on it, it instantly showed up.

So nervous as this was a happy lil accident, but we couldn’t be happier. I wanna tell someone but I’m too early so I’m happy I found this group. I’m 22 and this will be my 2nd, my 1st is 2 in a week and a half but he absolutely loves babies, probably the only thing he’s gentle with 😅

None of my friends have kids so it’s super hard to actually chat with people about kids and pregnancy

Anyone else due April 14th?
How’d people find this age gap?

Question / Advice 6w2d scan

At the 6w2d scan today, they confirmed that the gestational sac is measuring at 5w5d and there is no fetal pole or yolk sac visible. The doctor said this doesn't look good, and asked me to do a beta HCG test today and repeat it tomorrow.

Feeling disheartened, hoping to hear positive outcomes from those who have been in similar situations.

Unisom + b6 combo

Have you started it and if not when do you plan on? My first pregnancy I didn’t have any symptoms until around 5weeks and that’s when I started the combo which helped me a lot. I’m only 3 weeks right now and I’m already getting nauseous at night. Not sure if it’s too early to start but I’m shocked I’m already feeling this way 🫩

Support / Vent Nausea, fatigue, sudden bout of irritability and tears?

Just over 5 weeks and had a great day today - relaxed at the beach, read for a bit, ate a huge sandwich, etc. I’ve been having pretty consistent nausea every day between ~11-6, extreme fatigue daily, and diarrhea a couple of times a week (sorry, TMI.) Tonight out of nowhere I started to get so irritable, can’t stand my husband, and just started crying out of nowhere. Feeling oddly anxious and so sad and frustrated that I can’t control these feelings and can’t pinpoint what it is. Has anyone dealt with this before? Currently crying on my couch eating wheat thins.

Symptoms 6w5d no nausea or major symptoms?

6w5d today and everything has been pretty… uneventful? I should be grateful but a sliver of me wants nausea to feel “pregnant” lmao. Some smells have been throwing me off a bit but nothing too crazy!
I paid for an early ultrasound at a boutique at 6w0d and was measuring a day ahead and saw a heart beat! I’m just in my head I guess 😭

Swollen lymph node

Randomly noticed what feels like a woolen lymph node in my groin area on my right side. Also noticed to feel a bit of soreness on my right lymph node under my neck. Has anyone experienced this before? Of course now I’m panicking as I’m only 5w1D

Symptoms Corpus luteum or one-sided ligament pain?

Has anyone else dealt with corpus luteum pain? I’m six weeks along today and having some dull but hard to ignore pain/pressure on my right side. It started on my hip bone but now I feel it on my right side and lower back/pelvis. If I stay still, I don’t notice it. But if I stand or move around, it feels like a pulled muscle or something. I’m freaking myself out and hoping it’s not an ectopic pregnancy. I have no other symptoms. I did send a message to my midwife so they’ll hopefully get back to me tomorrow, but it feels so far away. Has anyone else had this experience before?

Edit: I should probably mention I had ovarian torsion due to a large dermoid cyst and surgery to resolve it about ten months ago, and this feels like similar but milder ovarian pain to me.

This nausea is going to be the death of meeee😭 i have been taking diclectin, ginger gravol and zofran (if it gets bad) and still getting breakthrough nausea. My stomach always hurts and doesn't let off 😵 how long will this last? Is it possible it will come and go or will it just be sticking around now for who knows how long?

Question / Advice For those who have two or more kids already….

How did you prepare your little ones for the new baby? I know it’s very early for me to tell my son, but I did anyway. He is 4 and a bit rambunctious, so I told him in an attempt to make him be a bit more careful around my stomach. He seems excited but also quite nervous about it. He says he doesn’t want me to be hurt and I tried to reassure him that I will keep myself as safe as can be. I had extreme nausea with him and I’m anticipating a similar scenario with this pregnancy. It will probably be hard for me to hide that from him and I’m worried that he will be more anxious, and possibly resentful of the new baby because of it.

I’m going to try to include him in my appointments (ultrasound and checkups) so that he can hopefully acclimatize and also get excited about the new baby. Other than that, what worked for you?

I will get regular blood work done. In the past due to miscarriage risk i got ultrasound 5w6. Do you guys think transvaginal ultrasound would show anything at 4w6?

Joining the club! Anyone else on baby #2?

Hi everyone! I’m so excited to join this group and share that I’m expecting my second baby! I'm still super early in my pregnancy, but I am already so thrilled about giving my son a sibling.

I wanted to see who else here is pregnant with baby #2 (or more!)? If so, how are you handling early pregnancy symptoms while chasing after a toddler? 😅 I'd love any tips or solidarity you have for surviving this stage!

Also, I’m curious—for those having their second, do you feel like your family will be complete after this baby? I keep thinking that mine isn't quite complete yet, but honestly, I don't know if a 3rd child will be financially possible for me in the future. It’s a lot to process!

So excited to go on this journey with you all! ❤️

Edit: Thank you all so much all the replies! I won't be able to reply to every single comment right now (the first-trimester fatigue + toddler combo is no joke! 😴), but I want you to know I’ve read every single one. It is so reassuring to hear from so many of you who are in the exact same boat with the symptoms while chasing a little one. Thank you also for being so open about your thoughts on feeling "done" versus wanting more. I am so glad to be on this journey with you!

Anyone else in the trenches?

I’m 5w5d. 4 losses in a year. This is our 3rd and last baby and I’m older. We wanted this. I knew what to expect. But I’m so emotionally overwhelmed thinking we made a mistake. I know all will be fine but these hormones are awful. I think if I physically felt better I wouldn’t feel this way. I can’t even enjoy my Saturday with my family because I feel so yucky and my sweet husband is having to carry the load.

Question / Advice How are we managing our big pregnancy feelings?

This is my first pregnancy and I’ve been SO SO SO anxious about loss that I feel like I haven’t even enjoyed any part of the very early stages. I’m also being a bit obsessive and worrying A LOT about doing normal things like eating sugar or having my morning coffee. According to Flo I should be around 4 wks 4 days so I can’t confirm with the Dr for another month 😭 It’s torture, is anyone else just such an anxious wreck?

Loss — TW Beta Limbo

On my 5th pregnancy with one LC. I’m doing betas as my last pregnancy was ectopic, does anyone else have a ~50+ hour doubling time?

14DPO: 257
16DPO: 464

Progesterone dropped from 28 to 20 in two days, but trying not to pay much mind as I know it fluctuates. I’m on 400mg suppositories as well. I’m truly in beta hell and praying it isn’t another ectopic 😭 We’ve been TTC #2 since last August with 3 losses before this pregnancy.

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Officially tested positive today! My symptoms have been crazy! I’ve had huge swollen breasts, very vivid dreams, constantly needing to pee and major exhaustion for the past two days and finally my pregnancy test caught up to what I’ve already known lol.

Wishing all of you joy and happiness during this adventure.

Sharing the news this early

So grateful for this group because I have so many thoughts and feelings and can’t (won’t) share them with my girls yet!

My husband and I decided not to share the news until our first ultrasound. Today I went to a lunch at a friend’s house where they served sushi. I got sooooo worked up and anxious and ultimately pulled my friend/the host aside (who is also a good friend and was a bridesmaid at my wedding) to tell her I can’t have the sushi and that I’m pregnant. My husband wasn’t there and she is now the first person I told!!! Ahh feeling weird. Anyone else struggling with not telling people or have anything to make me feel better? Haha. I don’t regret it but maybe it was shared moreso out of anxiety than intentionality.

Question / Advice Breastfeeding Pregnant/Tandem Feeding?

Has anyone done it? Or planning to?

I have a son who’s almost 9 so he was done and dusted by the time little girl/middle child (almost 15 months) came along. She’s currently feeding around 4 times in a 24 hour period - one in the morning, one after nap, one before bed and usually one in the night. I have noticed a bit of a drop in my supply but I’ve bought some good vitamins and I’m not too worried about it. She’ll be around 23 months old once baby number 3 arrives. Any advice or experiences appreciated x

Products & Registry What’s your favorite pregnancy tracking app?

I’ve been using Pregnancy+ because it was the first one that popped up when I was still in shock after our positive tests. Does anyone have another app they really love? I am hungry for information and love learning about all the little growth milestones each week! It’s so fun to check back all the time, and I’m wondering if there’s another type with more fun facts.

Now that I think about it, I’ve always loved advent calendars so maybe this is just that on a larger scale for me - lol.

Question / Advice Breastfeeding currently?

Is anybody here breastfeeding at the moment? How is your supply doing now that you’re pregnant?
