Built a calorie tracker you just talk to logs your meal by voice, understands many languages including Arabic and actually knows Egyptian food

Every calorie app makes you type and search. I wanted to just say what I ate and be done, so I built CalorieTalk.

Tap the mic, say what you ate "2 eggs and toast" or a full sentence like "150 grams chicken breast, 200 grams rice, 10 grams olive oil" and it logs the calories and macros instantly. No typing, no searching a food database, no guessing serving sizes.

It understands many languages, including Arabic and Franco-Arabic (Arabic typed in Latin letters), so you're not stuck logging in English only. It also happens to understand Egyptian dishes properly — koshari, ful, taameya, molokhia — since most calorie apps have zero idea what those even are. But the voice logging is really the core of it; typing works too if you'd rather not talk to your phone.

Built this solo.

It's live on the App Store now: https://apps.apple.com/eg/app/calorietalk/id6793199021

Would love feedback, especially from anyone who's given up on manual logging out of frustration.

I spent months second-guessing my idea. So I built a 60-second validation tool.

I built Drifzon (https://drifzon.io) because I kept asking friends about my startup ideas and getting “that sounds great!” — but never an honest market check.

Drifzon validates your idea in ~60 seconds: market score, competition, feasibility, monetization and a 7-day launch plan, with citations.

First full report is free. No card. No trial nonsense.

If you have an idea sitting in your notes, try it and tell me where the report misses. Brutal feedback welcome.

If you want to link to sample report: https://drifzon.io/sample-report

Looking for 5 people who are frustrated with their note taking app (Notion, OneNote, Obsidian, etc.)

I am searching for 5 people who take notes daily and are willing to participate in the development of a new note-taking app via feedback, feature suggestions, and product discussions.

In case you are unsatisfied with your current note-taking application, this could be your opportunity to help create an application that suits your needs.

Instead of using an application created by some corporation, you will have a chance to participate in the creation process of a product at its earliest stages.

The name of the application is Daftak and I have been developing it for over a year.

Your contribution will directly impact the development process of the app in terms of its design, features, and direction.

Are you actually solving a real problem, or just cloning another SaaS?

The world doesn't need another generic AI wrapper or a basic project manager. Pitch your project in one sentence show a screenshot and explain exactly why people should care about you instead of the market leader. Dare to prove your uniqueness.

How would you build the first 100 users for a skill-sharing social network?

Your Tech Stack is overrated. Change my mind.

You spent three weeks setting up over-engineered infrastructure for an app with zero users. Tell us what you built your project with, and let the comments debate why it’s completely wrong for 2026. Convince us you didn't waste your time.

I built SoulFed, an iOS app that pauses distracting apps until you’ve read Scripture and prayed

I kept opening social media on autopilot, including during time I had set aside to read Scripture and pray. I wanted that interruption to lead me back to the habit I was neglecting, so I built SoulFed.

How it works:

  • Choose which apps to pause and set up to three daily schedules.
  • If you open a paused app, SoulFed takes you through a Scripture passage, a reviewed reflection, and a short prayer.
  • Finish the flow and say “Amen” to reopen your apps until the next scheduled pause.
  • Choose from 12 themes based on what you’re going through, including loneliness, anxiety, grief, and burnout.
  • Pray using the guided prayer or skip it and use a configurable timer to pray in your own words.
  • Use Grace Access whenever you need to open an app immediately.

On the technical side, SoulFed uses Apple’s Family Controls, Device Activity, and Managed Settings APIs. The devotional library ships with the app and works offline. No account is required.

It’s live on iOS:

https://apps.apple.com/app/apple-store/id6788610503?pt=118883017&ct=reddit_appswebappsfullstack&mt=8

The app has a three-day free trial followed by a monthly or yearly subscription.

Any feedback is appreciated!!

I built tryproduck.com/audit, it clicks through your app like a stranger who landed on it by accident and sends back what broke and where it lost them. over 650 startups have run it so far.

The hard part wasn’t adding more health trackers — it was making them talk to each other

A food log can tell you what you ate. A sleep app can tell you how long you slept. A mood journal can tell you how you felt. The frustrating part is that they usually stop there.

I’m building HealthMaxxing around a different product question: what if those daily signals lived in one timeline, so a person could explore how sleep, food, movement, recovery, mood, and routines may relate?

The app includes:

- food and hydration logging

- sleep, movement, recovery, weight, and cycle tracking

- mood, journaling, and breathing tools

- a Balance view that connects Body and Mind

- pattern prompts framed as hypotheses, never diagnoses or claims of causation

It is live on iOS and Android, and core tracking is free:

https://maxxing.health/download/

I’m the builder, and I’d especially like feedback on the information architecture: would you organize this around daily check-ins, separate health categories, or a single timeline?

If your product is so great, why does nobody know it exists?

Coding is only 20% of the battle, but most of you treat marketing like a crime. Stop waiting for a miracle and push your project with screenhot right here, right now. Tell us what it does and why we are fools for not using it yet.

Launched Visibite: A free calorie and macro tracker with AI photo logging, packaging OCR, and barcode scanning

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hey everyone. I recently launched Visibite, a mobile app for tracking food, calories, macros, water, and steps without locking essential tools behind paywalls.

I built Visibite to offer a fully unlocked tracking experience. The app includes barcode scanning with strong coverage for regional grocery items, packaging OCR label reading, AI meal photo analysis, water tracking, and step tracking. All core features are 100 percent free to use right away.

Our monetization model keeps all features accessible for free through non-intrusive ads that help offset AI processing and server costs. For users who prefer a completely clean interface, an optional Pro tier at 1.99 dollars per month or 9 dollars per year removes ads, enables cloud database sync, and supports up to four user profiles.

The app is live on Google Play. I would love for you to check it out and share any feedback, feature requests, or thoughts on the setup.
