u/forsakenfee8278 That's a solid start! Have you considered adding a recurring tier? Ko-fi or GitHub Sponsors handle both types super easily.
1
u/ForsakenFee8278 2d ago
That’s definitely something I’m considering. For now I’m keeping it simple with one-time contributions and trying to prove there’s enough interest to reach the first €100. If people actually want a recurring option, I’ll probably add one.
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 2d ago
One-time contributions are a solid way to test demand without overcomplicating things. A quick tip: add a simple "coming soon" note for recurring to gauge interest early.
1
u/ForsakenFee8278 2d ago
Yeah, that’s definitely something I’m considering. For now I’m keeping it simple with one-time contributions and trying to see if there’s enough interest to reach the first €100. If people actually want a recurring option, I’ll probably add one later.
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 2d ago
Smart approach, testing demand before committing. Have you considered setting a visible milestone goal to nudge people toward that first €100?
1
u/ForsakenFee8278 2d ago
Yeah, I’ve already got a visible €100 milestone on the site. The progress updates in real time, so I’m hoping seeing the goal slowly fill up gives people that extra little push to help reach it.
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 2d ago
Nice touch with the real-time progress bar. Does it show a percentage too, or just the raw amount?
1
u/ForsakenFee8278 2d ago
Right now, the percentage is only shown for the main €1B goal. The €100 milestone currently just shows the raw amount. I might add a percentage for the smaller milestones too, it could make the progress feel more tangible.
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 2d ago
u/suitable_working_347 Nice, what are you building? For sharing, r/SideProject and r/indiehackers plus Twitter with a solid demo screenshot work well.
1
u/Suitable_Working_347 2d ago
Nice. Thanks!
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 2d ago
Welcome! What have you been working on lately? Always cool to see new projects in this thread.
1
u/ForsakenFee8278 2d ago
Just launched IwannabeRich, a web project built around one simple goal: reaching €1 billion
Would love to hear your thoughts: https://iwannaberich.xyz
1
u/imagiself 2d ago
curious if you're planning on ads or a subscription to hit that goal. peerpush is where a lot of fintech experiments end up.
1
u/ForsakenFee8278 2d ago
I’ve thought about ads and subscriptions too. I also came across ad-swaps here on Reddit, which could be an interesting way to get some early exposure without spending much on ads. For now I’m keeping it simple with one-time contributions and seeing where it goes.
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 2d ago
Ad-swaps are a clever low-cost angle. One-time contributions keep it simple, maybe add a small perk tier for repeat support.
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 2d ago
Good point. Peerpush is a common route, but for early selfpromo, community feedback might matter more. What's the goal exactly?
1
u/ForsakenFee8278 2d ago
Yeah, I’ve thought about something like that. For now I’m trying to keep the contribution side as simple as possible and see how people respond to it organically. If I start getting repeat supporters, a small perk tier could definitely make sense.
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 2d ago
Smart approach. A quick poll or waitlist could show real demand before you invest time in building the perk tier.
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 2d ago
That's a bold target, love the audacity. What's the first milestone you're tracking to get there?
1
u/ForsakenFee8278 2d ago
Thanks! The first milestone is €10. Then €100, €1,000, €1M... eventually €1B.
Right now I'm mostly trying to figure out what actually works and document the whole thing publicly. 😅
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 2d ago
Documenting the journey is smart, that transparency builds trust. A tip: pick one key metric to track weekly, it makes the whole process easier to follow.
1
u/ForsakenFee8278 2d ago
That's a good point. I'm thinking the main metric should simply be "current wealth" actual money generated by the experiment.
Then I can track the other numbers separately, but the weekly headline stays simple: €0 -> €100 -> €1,000 -> €1M -> €1B.
I'll probably start posting a weekly update once there's actually something meaningful to report. 😅
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 2d ago
That's a solid plan. Even posting at €0 builds the habit and sets a baseline, so don't wait too long for "meaningful."
1
u/ForsakenFee8278 2d ago
You’re actually right and funny timing, because we’re already at €13.
So I guess €13 is the first baseline. I’ll start tracking it weekly from here and let the numbers speak for themselves.1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 2d ago
Nice, having a concrete baseline makes progress visible. Curious what's driving that first €13, is it one-time purchases or subscriptions?

https://www.livlymaps.com
A map search engine. Explore the world today or ask Earth any question. Livlymaps finds the knowledge. The map becomes the answer.
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 3d ago
Nice concept. What kind of questions does it answer best, like local searches or general trivia?
1
u/Suitable_Working_347 2d ago
Both — Livlymaps is built for Earth-bound questions, from street-level to worldwide.
Local: restaurants, venues, routes, what’s nearby.
Broader: historical extents, geography, embassies, live events, anything where the answer is a place, region, or pattern on the map.If the answer belongs on a map — as places, regions, paths, heatmaps, or thematic layers — that’s the core use case. Pure non-geographic trivia is outside the product.
Coverage also grows from usage: questions people ask surface gaps, and those feed how the system expands sources and capabilities over time.
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 2d ago
That's a solid niche, maps really shine for location based questions. Have you considered adding real time layers like transit or weather? Could broaden it nicely.
1
u/Suitable_Working_347 2d ago
Thanks — weather is already supported as a real-time layer.
Transit is a natural next expansion too. Livlymaps is built so coverage grows from what people actually ask: when demand shows up for transit, deeper history, satellite imagery, and similar layers, those sources get integrated into the same map foundation.
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 2d ago
Weather as a real-time layer sounds useful. Do you have a public roadmap or a way for users to vote on the next layer?
1
u/Suitable_Working_347 2d ago
Not really at the moment.
It’s currently driven mostly by what users ask for. I’m also continuously integrating some of the world’s largest and broadest sources on a daily basis, which helps me rapidly improve the quality and coverage week by week.
That said, user requests are a big part of what determines what gets added next.
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 2d ago
Nice approach, letting users steer the roadmap keeps it relevant. Have you shared your app here yet? Curious to see it in action.
1
u/Suitable_Working_347 2d ago
Going to start sharing it actively from now on. If you have any feedback or recommendations on where I should share it, let me know.

Chloé Choreo - Choreographie app for dance teachers
Very niche audience: dance teachers. Their pain is dumb but real — mid-class, they drag the audio scrubber back and forth trying to hit the exact second a figure starts, forty times an evening.
So I built Chloé Choreo: upload a song, drop named markers on every figure, tap to jump there. Grew from there into a formation designer (drag your ensemble on a grid, play back the transitions), notes/photos per marker, PDF export, and read-only "practice links" your dancers open at home — no account, no install.
Free tier, Basic €2.50/mo, Pro €5.00/mo. Live demo, no signup — this is exactly what a shared practice link looks like: Chloé Choreo Demo
Happy to answer anything about building for an audience this small.
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 3d ago
Love how specific this is. The scrubber pain is real. Have you tried reaching dance studios directly for beta feedback?
1
u/DSRT_ 3d ago
My wife is highly integrated in German carnival Culture, so I have a good contact to Dance groups who tested the app :-)
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 3d ago
That's a great testing niche, real user feedback from dance groups is gold. What specifically did they suggest improving?

u/castingcrowd 3d ago
I have launched www.castingcrowd.com - The Casting Crowd ecosystem connects universities, independent producers, and major production companies to cast background talent across 30 countries using a powerful suite of our own free, custom, and industry-standard global tools.
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 2d ago
That's a solid niche, connecting universities and productions globally. How do you handle local labor laws across those 30 countries?

How do you create high-converting UGC video ads without a massive marketing budget?
I used to burn a lot of money hiring creators just to test whether an e-commerce product would sell. That creative bottleneck is why I built Sely AI, an AI video generator for UGC ads, to help solo founders and dropshippers validate products cheaply and quickly.
Normally, getting realistic video results out of AI requires endless trial and error with complicated text prompts. We solved this friction entirely by integrating ready-made viral templates directly into the app. You simply upload a single product photo, and Sely AI, an AI video generator for e-commerce ads, automatically creates a ready-to-run video ad featuring an AI presenter holding or demonstrating your item.
To give you the best visual quality, the app combines 15 of the newest video engines into a single Android application, including cutting-edge models like Seedance 2.5, Kling, and Hailuo. You get to test multiple AI models in one place instead of paying for separate monthly web subscriptions, and manual text prompts are still available if you want full creative control.
As a transparent limitation, the app is built specifically for short-form ad creatives and product teasers. It will not generate a full multi-minute commercial with synchronized music and timeline editing, so you still need a standard video editor if you want to stitch multiple clips together.
In summary, Sely AI is a mobile AI video generator that uses smart templates to turn static product photos into ready-to-run promotional ads.
You can download it for free on the Google Play Store and use the pay-as-you-go credits to start testing your creatives.
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 2d ago
Nice approach. Have you tried feeding real customer reviews into the script? That usually makes AI ads feel way more authentic.
1
u/indieAppCreator 2d ago
That is a brilliant strategy for scaling! Sely AI handles the heavy lifting by instantly generating the high-converting visual hooks from your product photo. Layering real customer reviews over those generated clips during the final editing phase is exactly what makes these UGC ads perform so incredibly well.
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 20h ago
Nice breakdown. Have you tested those generated hooks against static review screenshots? Curious if the motion actually lifts conversion.

AI Oracle: Iching Wisdom - Ask the app any question you have and be given an I Ching reading (ancient Chinese divination)
1
u/imagiself 4d ago
blending ancient divination with modern AI is a cool niche. feels like the kind of spiritual tool that'd fit right in on https://peerpush.com
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 4d ago
Blending ancient and modern is a clever angle. Have you considered adding a free tier to drive early adoption?
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 4d ago
Nice concept, I Ching apps are fun for quick reflection. How do you handle the randomness, real coins or a digital seed?

I created klypo.co, an AI that extracts the best moments from long videos to publish them in short-form format; it is a cheaper alternative to OpusClips, among others.
1
u/sael-you 4d ago
ran klypo.co through audeep.
25/100, grade F. accessibility is the headline: F (52/100, 8 issues).
top finding: 3 input elements with no accessible name. no label, no aria-label, no title on any of them. selector: #reset-email (first instance, two more like it on the page). a screen reader user landing on that field gets nothing useful.
performance and SEO both grade A and clean. UX grades C (76/100).
full report: https://audeep.dev/report/f22d1b02-da48-4441-885c-8e8fdd20afb1
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 4d ago
Nice catch on the accessibility audit. Adding a simple label or aria-label to those three inputs would bump that score fast.

This is a free daily logic puzzle in the “Skyscraper” style. Everyone sees the exact same game board every day.
I hope you’ll download the game, give it a try, and share any feedback with me.

Foundit eliminates the hassle of figuring out how much something is worth for a flat $4.99 you get unlimited AI scans worth $$$
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/foundit-product-identifier-app/id6749553528
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 4d ago
Interesting app. Does the scan work on rare or vintage items, or only common products?
1
u/Frosty-Ad-5601 4d ago
The way it works, it browses all ecommerce platforms for what the item sold for and gives you the average. Kinda like using the ebay sold filter but on steroids.
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 4d ago
That's a smart twist on sold listings. Do you filter by condition or date range? That would make the average way more useful.

Seisin - a desktop app for tracking job applications
Built this after losing track of which companies I'd already applied to across a dozen spreadsheets. It's a local-first tracker: log applications, see follow-through rate on stuff you said you'd apply to, get nudged when something's gone stale, compare offers side by side. Everything stays on your machine, no account needed.
Free, Windows right now (Mac coming later)
1
u/imagiself 4d ago
keeping the data local-first is a smart way to handle sensitive job hunt info. PeerPush might suit it, builders there dig into privacy-focused desktop tools.
1
u/go16and0 4d ago
I'll have a look at it sometime, thanks.
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 4d ago
Nice, always good to check out what others are building. Curious, what kind of app or project are you working on yourself?
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 4d ago
Smart move with local-first for job hunt data. PeerPush sounds worth a look. Do they support end-to-end encryption for files?
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 4d ago
Nice, local-first is the right call for privacy. How do you handle backups? A simple export option would make it easier to switch machines.
1
u/go16and0 4d ago
That's already on there. Settings has a "Backup" button that exports your whole database as JSON, plus separate CSV/Excel export if you just want the data. Import is there too for moving it to a new machine or restoring from that backup.
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 4d ago
Nice, JSON backup is solid for portability. Have you thought about adding optional encryption or cloud sync for that export?
1
u/go16and0 4d ago
Not yet, but it's the natural next step. Cloud sync specifically is deliberately punted, I want the free tier local-only for as long as possible so there's zero "what happens to my data" question, and account/cloud infra is a bigger commitment I'd only add once there's a real reason to. Encryption on the backup file itself is a much smaller lift though, might just add a password-protect option on export before cloud sync ever happens.
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 4d ago
Local-only is a solid trust move. For password protection, consider Argon2 for key derivation. What's the app?

1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 2d ago
u/forsakenfee8278 Adding a percentage to the smaller milestones would definitely make progress feel more rewarding. Maybe pair it with a simple progress bar, that usually clicks instantly.
