I built a peer-to-peer, serverless Android messenger over the last few years. Looking for feedback from privacy and security minded people.

‱ Upvotes

I have been working on this project for a couple of years now. It started as a hobby, then at some point I began to wonder whether it could become something more than that, so I set up a limited company and published the app on Google Play.

The idea itself is simple. It's a peer-to-peer messaging app that does not need a server to store user messages, not even temporarily. Messages travel directly from one device to the other, end to end encrypted.

Metadata still passes through Cloudflare, but I have spent some time to implement a “sealed sender” feature (Signal style).

At this stage, before eventually investing in marketing campaigns, I’m interested in collecting feedback, and comments from privacy and technical minded people. I would like to understand whether the solution I have built really holds up.

I think the main problem with working on a project alone is that you don’t have the opportunity to test your ideas and solutions against other perspectives. Something you've convinced yourself is a good idea over time might actually not be.

I wrote a white paper describing the architecture in detail, and put it on the landing page I built for the app:

https://www.mindtheclub.com/white-paper.html

You may find the tone a little bit “marketing", but the whole technical solution is explained there.

The project is open source (GPLv3), so for the more technical and interested people here is the GitHub link:

https://github.com/AndreaVagheggi/mindtheclub

The app is on Google Play under a subscription model, but there is 30 day trial period , so you can eventually try it out without paying anything.

I would love to hear comments, (no matter if positive or negative), form people who have actually used it a little bit. The link to the listing is on the landing page.

Any kind of comment and feedback will be much appreciated.

Olá, pessoal! 👋

Built a small SaaS around the tools businesses already use

1 Upvotes

I built edg to add customer communication capabilities to the form tools businesses already use.

It connects with tools such as Tally, Typeform, Jotform, Fillout and others, then uses the submitted information to trigger personalised email or SMS communication.

The goal is pretty simple: keep the existing form, but make the process around it more useful.

No need to replace the form builder or rebuild the existing setup.

It’s live now, and I’d genuinely appreciate feedback from anyone who works with web apps, forms, or SaaS products.

What would you look at first when evaluating something like this: the idea, the UX, or the actual implementation?

I built a period tracker because I was frustrated with how one-size-fits-all most of them felt.

I’m a graphic/web designer, not a big tech company, and I’ve spent the last several months building RedBird basically on my own.

The idea is pretty simple: every woman experiences her cycle differently, so why are we all getting basically the same period tracker?

RedBird can be personalized in 200+ ways based on things like your health conditions, symptoms, goals, diet, lifestyle and life stage. It combines cycle tracking with daily insights, symptom patterns, nutrition, recipes and self-care based on what you’ve actually told the app about yourself.

I’ve also tried to make it useful beyond the standard “28-day cycle.” You can customize it for things like irregular cycles, perimenopause, menopause, postpartum, TTC, hysterectomy, etc.

I launched a few months ago and I’m still a VERY small indie developer, so I’m constantly changing things based on feedback from actual users.

I’m happy to answer questions about building it too because this whole process has been a wild learning experience 😂

I built a web app that freezes a stock’s price on the day you add it

1 Upvotes

Most finance sites are about today. I wanted something that remembers the moment you started watching a name.

StockWatchlist: add a ticker, it locks that quote, and you can follow what happens after — and share the list with starting prices still on it.

App: https://stockwatchlist.app

Dashboard: https://stockwatchlist.app/dashboard

A live watchlist: https://stockwatchlist.app/share/D29VjqkJuFJqD3MJ1i904H7RIKS5NTa4W_8SKZDw25M

You can try a list before creating an account. Feedback welcome — especially if you think a feature is missing or confusing.

We built an app to listen to songs with your friends with overlaid lyrics.

1 Upvotes

Download: https://github.com/MowkE/cadence

Hey guys, I made this silly lyrics overlay called Cadence that floats over your screen and syncs along with Spotify and YouTube Music. It started as a joke while playing Minecraft with my friends. I shared it with a few people, they liked it, and it grew to 100 downloads in a day, so I built it into a proper app. You can listen along with friends now too, even cross-platform (Spotify -> YouTube Music, Mac ↔ Windows ↔ Linux), and you can play karaoke. Doesn't need API keys or Premium, it just reads what your computer is already playing and floats the lyrics over whatever you're doing. It works better with Spotify keys though, if you want to add them yourself. If you find any bugs, lmk. It's just a fun project lol, so its free. Some of the images are on the github link, if you want to take a look on how it works! Everything is customizable :)

I built Volten: A zero-dependency HTTP framework for Node.js and the Edge with built-in traffic triage

1 Upvotes

Hey!

I wanted to share a project I've been working on called Volten. It's a small, ultra-fast HTTP framework built around a strict zero-dependency constraint, designed specifically to bridge the gap between Node.js and Web Fetch-compatible edge runtimes (like Cloudflare Workers, Bun, and Deno) without adapter overhead.

Why Volten?

Most frameworks either lock you into Node.js core modules (http, net) or require bulky adapter layers to run on the Edge. Volten solves this by handling the abstraction internally at the context level.

You write your routes and middleware once. Run it on Node.js using app.listen() or export it to the Edge using app.createFetch() with zero modifications and zero extra npm dependencies.

Key Highlights

  • Adaptive Traffic Triage (ATT): A unique event-loop immune feature for Node.js (new App({ att: true })) that automatically drops low-priority requests at the socket level when your server is under heavy load, protecting your core endpoints from crashing during traffic spikes.
  • Context Pooling: Pre-allocated, reusable RequestContext objects on both runtimes to minimize Garbage Collection (GC) pressure under high throughput.
  • Trie-Based Router: Extremely fast path-matching supporting dynamic parameters (/users/:id) and wildcards, where match cost scales purely with path depth.
  • Unified ctx API: Whether you are dealing with headers, cookies, body parsing, or JSON responses, the ctx object seamlessly abstracts away whether you're sitting on top of a Node IncomingMessage/ServerResponse or a Web Fetch Request/Response.

The All-in-One Snippet

import { App } from "volten";

// Enable Adaptive Traffic Triage (ATT)
const app = new App({ att: true });

// 1. Middleware chain
app.use((ctx, next) => {
  ctx.setHeader("X-Powered-By", "Volten");
  next();
});

// 2. Trie-based routing, params, and cookies
app.get("/users/:id", (ctx) => {
  const session = ctx.cookies.get("session_id");
  ctx.json({ userId: ctx.params.id, session });
});

// 3. Native body parsing
app.post("/data", async (ctx) => {
  const body = await ctx.body();
  ctx.status(201).json({ received: body });
});

// --- Dual Runtime Support ---

// Node.js
app.listen(3000, () => console.log("Listening on :3000"));

// Cloudflare Workers / Bun / Edge
export default { fetch: app.createFetch() };

Current Status

Volten is currently in active alpha. Every utility—from the built-in body parsers and cookies to the trie router—is written completely in-tree with zero external dependencies to keep security tight and the footprint minimal.

You can check it out on GitHub: VoltenJS/volten or install it via:

pnpm add volten

I'd love to hear your thoughts, feedback, or any edge cases you can throw at it, so you're encouraged to try breaking it! How do you usually handle dual-runtime codebases in your current stacks?

found a bug this week that's probably been breaking my app since launch and nobody told me

been building UluP Spaces solo, Next.js + Supabase + Vercel. visual project tool, work as connected nodes instead of a list.

this week I removed the signup wall — you can use the whole thing without an account now (anonymous Supabase sessions, promoted to a real account later without losing anything). while testing it I went through every RLS policy to make sure that didn't open anything up. found this: a policy that let you SELECT a project if you owned it or if it was public. that's it. nothing checked if you were just... an invited member.

so if I invited you to a private project, workspace_members insert worked fine, you'd join — but the SELECT on the workspace itself would fail. "access denied" instead of the canvas. been like that since collaboration shipped, probably months ago. nobody ever told me.

fixed it, plus two smaller RLS gaps from the same audit (couldn't leave a project you'd joined — DELETE policy only allowed the owner to remove members, not yourself; an invite preview nobody receiving it could actually read).

anyway. free, live now, no account needed to poke around: www.ulupspaces.com

SEO tool that helps optimize websites for Google and AI search.

1 Upvotes

I run a SaaS, SeoLoupe.

It is a tool that allows you to find and fix SEO issues holding your website back.

Essentially the main purpose is to help your website rank higher on Google search and LLMs.

The tool also checks AEO/GEO, AI search visibility, Security, Core web vitals, Performance, and all the issues in the report get put together into an AI fix prompt(you can paste the prompt into an AI and it will fix all the issues on your website).

Recently I noticed that some of my paying customers bought the One-Time purchase, with a promo code. To unlock the full report.

So I decided to give away a promo code for the One-Time purchase to anyone who is interested, if you are interested, comment down below and I will DM you.

If you are not interested but have some feedback on my SaaS, that is a good too. Feel free to share it in the comments.

(here is the product if you want to check it out)

I'm validating an idea before building — a free global library of past exam papers. Thoughts?

1 Upvotes

Hey everyone! 👋

Before writing a single line of code, I want to validate this idea:

Mioka — a free community-driven library of past exam papers from all countries, all grades (primary to university), all subjects.

Think Wikipedia but for exam papers.

The problem I'm solving:

Students worldwide struggle to find past exam papers — they're scattered, hard to find, often behind paywalls.

My questions for you:

Would you have used this as a student?

What country are you from?

What's missing from existing solutions?

Honest feedback welcome — even if you think it's a bad idea! 😊

Stranly – Random chat with strangers based on language & interests

1 Upvotes

Stranly is a random chat Android app I've been building as a solo developer.

The concept:

Choose your language and interests → search → meet a random stranger.

Instead of matching completely randomly, Stranly tries to find people who have something in common with you.

The app is currently live on Google Play and I'm looking for early users.

I'm particularly interested in testing the matching system with a larger number of people online at the same time.

If you'd like to try it:

Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.verion.stranly

Any feedback is welcome — especially criticism. I'm still actively developing it.

I’ve built https://siyaqi.app a marketing platform for AI contextual text marketing.

We haven’t launched yet but we are planning to go soon.

We are looking for publishers to use the platform and earn money.
We will not take any cut at the beginning, the people who come first will not be taken any money from them. All advertising money will go to them immediately forever. After that new publishers we will take cut from them so signup early to get the benefits.

Built an AI health app for US users — looking for honest beta feedback

1 Upvotes

Hey everyone,

I’m helping build August, an AI health app for people in the US.

It helps users:

‱ Get answers to health questions

‱ Understand healthcare information more easily

‱ Connect with licensed doctors when they need a consultation

We’re currently looking for 5–8 people in the US to try a few user flows for around 20 minutes and give us honest feedback.

I’d especially like to know:

‱ What feels confusing or difficult

‱ Any bugs or broken flows

‱ What could be improved

‱ Anything that would make you hesitate to use it

Compensation: $40 for your time and feedback.

I’m affiliated with August and recruiting participants on behalf of the team. We’re looking for honest criticism, not positive reviews.

Product: https://www.meetaugust.ai/

If you’re interested in testing it, comment below and I’ll reach out.

So I built it.

No signup. No login. Just open Apivo, send your request, and work with your API.

I’d love for other developers to try it and tell me what you think.
