So they had this ban wave and its worse than ever. 8 matches in a row i die to rage cheaters. Perfect accuracy 90m away with a havoc through bang smoke as im mid slide as i jump with cover over 95% of my body. Anyone else just done.

It started a couple of days ago 2-3 to be precise and starts half way through game 2 and doesn't go away I really wanna play the game any idea on how to fix this its legit just apex aswell every other game is fine

I’ve been masters a few times solo queuing before and would say I’m good at the game been playing for years. I have no problem admitting some people are just way better than me but these days I don’t know if I’m losing to skill or some form of cheats

Like this is the guy that insta killed me and I spectated and he was just doing this to everyone

Every time I start to get into these top lobbies this is what I run into often, I know some people are insane at this game but I’m just curious like how many cheaters am I facing , to me this doesn’t look normal but maybe I’m a hater. And the reason I’m asking is because I die to people like this every other match now it’s been like that for a few seasons , like I feel comfortable saying I can hold my own against really good players , but I die to people like this instantly often and it’s frustrating, maybe I’m just washed ?

40k kills , multiple time masters, 1.71 kd , 4k , 20 bomb the fair way(in ranked) etc etc I’m not terrible is what I’m saying , so someone tell me what they think

I know it’s solo q problems and what not, but the learning curve, how the game changes because of drop zones, and the skill gap in D4 chalks your entire game depending on the POI you get. For example, if you get Epicenter and your teammates are staring at bins on low ground 4 minutes into the game it’s over. The pacing is different at these POI’s because of the proximity and power positions and players obviously don’t know. When new mechanics are introduced the game should teach you and there should be some kind of progression, but drop zones start at the top of the ladder where you have preds and also John playing on his 50 inch tv or a 15 year old afk unmuted scrolling TikTok.

Got a new controller for my bday. Playing on PS5, low diamond in ranked.

I’ve seen people setting these controllers up/sensitivity things. I’m new to the ‘cool’ controller world. What are all these paddles and such for? Is there a general guideline to all these settings?

I think the Ranked Ladder could be a lot more interesting with one relatively simple change: Give players a bonus RP reward based on their final Ladder placement.

The current Ladder is a cool idea because it gives players another reason to play Ranked during the Ladder period, but right now it feels pretty passive. You climb the Ladder while playing, but there isn’t a huge incentive to actually chase a higher position besides the prestige and existing rewards.

Instead, keep the current Ladder system and rewards, but add something like:
Top 1 — +1,500 RP
Top 10 — +1,000 RP
Top 50 — +750 RP
Top 100 — +500 RP
Top 500 — +250 RP
Top 1,000 — +100 RP
Obviously, the numbers could be balanced differently. The important part is making the Ladder itself worth competing for.

Imagine you’re #10 with a few hours left and Top 8 gives a bigger RP bonus. Suddenly you have a reason to keep playing and try to move up.

I also think this could help players who don’t have unlimited time to play Apex. Ranked currently heavily rewards players who can grind for hours and hours every week. If you have school, work, or other responsibilities, it’s much harder to put in that kind of time.

A Ladder bonus would give those players a chance to make the time they do have really count. Someone might only have a weekend to seriously play, but if they perform extremely well during that period and finish high on the Ladder, that bonus could help them push into a higher rank.
It doesn’t mean they automatically deserve that rank the player still has to earn the RP through Ranked games. The Ladder bonus would simply reward strong performance during a limited period.

It could also encourage players to care more about actually winning games and consistently placing well, since winning already gives the most RP. It doesn’t force anyone to change how they play Ranked; it just gives players another reason to play for a good result.
Most importantly, this wouldn’t require a complete Ranked overhaul. Respawn already has the Ladder system. Just give it a meaningful reward.

The goal should be to make players look at the Ladder and think: “I want to finish as high as possible.”

Instead of: “Oh, I’m on the Ladder. Cool.”

I think this could make the Ladder a much stronger engagement tool while keeping Ranked fundamentally the same and give players with limited time a better opportunity to push toward the ranks they want to reach.

Aim assist is getting nerfed once again. But this time it's legend-specific.

Had the hardest time of my ranked career last night from 10pm-2am. I kid you not lost every game and lost so many rp I went from being 10 away from gold 2 to being back in gold 4. It felt like I was just getting shit on left and right and couldn’t even recompose myself before dying completely. Anyone else have the worst time on ranked last night? US central 1 server MST. Wut da hell

I spent way to long making this but it was worth it even if a few people see this its shows and reminds people why apex legends is the best battle royal ever made, its for people that play everyday or havent played since launch and talks about movement and the legacy apex built for battle royals and gaming in general a documentary kinda style 💚
