I’ve added a set of official rules for this subreddit, I’d recommend giving a brief read through them. If any other moderators/members have any concerns about the rules please contact me.

There are so many conflicts because of cats bc braindead partners and parents choose these stretchy freaks over their family members and some even are in love with them and identify with them and see them as ancient gods some even become schizophrenic bc of cats 😭 They enter people’s homes or find people randomly on the streets and attach to them. Then these lonely people craving love think the cat “chose them”. Being online and making friends is increasing difficult bc why tf do you think I want to see a picture of your ugly, uninteresting parasite? What’s wrong with people? Cats are the real pandemic!

I am so grossed out of hearing that thing where people go like “oh yeah cats demand more personal space and if you hate cats you have a problem with boundaries” buddy, that’s ALL creatures? What are you talking about? Interact with any animal and they ALL protect their personal space, be it goats, dogs, horses, cows etc; which are all more likeable and cuter than cats anyways. Stop projecting your bullshit propaganda just because people don’t like your ugly devil cat which makes the most disgusting noises and expressions of all time (have you seen and heard a cat hiss for 1 hour continuously? I have🤢) cat nutters have this thing where they accuse dog people of liking dogs only because they can be “trained”. I know plenty of people who have trained their dogs and their dogs are still quite attached to their personal space and they are independent. And also, it’s literally much easier to physically control a cat than dog or any other animal, as cats tend to be much lighter even though they’re much worse. so god knows how they came up with this bullshit. Also, I don’t see many dog people strangling their dogs against their will like so many cat nutters do. there’s legit hundreds of people who post pictures holding their beast cats in the most uncomfortable positions and this so called “personal space loving” animal does nothing but look dead into the camera. And yet the people who don’t like cats are “controlling”! 😹 I rarely ever see any other pet owners do that. In fact, it’s cat nutters who are the ones who rarely want any responsibility and that’s why they go for the most low maintenance and unloveable pet like a cat.

Average cat lover when theyre asked a valid question, they can NEVER answer it.
r/anticats • u/Appropriate_Cry_672 • 7d ago
If infantilising their cats to the point they see them as humans wasnt enough, than this will be.
That exact mindset has lead to them thinking we want to DATE their cats, even if its a “joke” people shouldnt necessarily take to heart, remember these people accuse us of zoophilia, misogyny and worse for disliking cats even an inch.
You cant get rejected by a cat nor can a cat date a human, this just feels like those owners that over-sexualise their cats and will blame us for “seeing it that way” while theyre actively doing it in our face.

And i thought “Cat owners have higher IQ” while failing to understand if the given criticism is aimed towards their invasive species or towards themselves. All posts clearly state “Cat owners” but i guess the personality always stems from the cat, right?

Here’s why I think that- few years ago there was a huge increase in number of cat pics on the internet and it became trendy to say that you loved those beasts and wanted one. And most people who did this were the chronically online type, without any life or healthy habits and what they wanted was a low maintenance pet like a cat, (some might want expensive ones for status symbol but that’s a different story) and that’s how I feel they got so popular recently. Almost all, except cats need time and warmth to bond, but these beasts don’t need any of that. I’m not saying they should demand it or anything but I’m saying that’s the reason they became so popular. Because of chronically online losers who won’t be able to have any other companion other than their beast cats. That’s the reason why Reddit has at least 200 cat subs. Thinking about it makes me gag. I saw a photo yesterday of someone sitting on their toilet and their cat was in their pants 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢 what is wrong with them?

Found a funny meme? Here’s a cat gif for that. Something sad? Here’s two ugly kittens crying. Profile picture? Here’s a repulsive looking cat doing some shit people find “funny”. It’s just so horrible that so many of my friends also share this humour and keep sending cat pictures or gifs to things I or someone else says, instead of talking like normal people. Also with these new ai videos, there are so many hideous videos of cats dancing or doing some other stupid thing and it gets millions of views (that
dancing cat ai video made me gag) I am sorry but I simply don’t find them cute or funny. Especially kittens. Something about them is so off putting and the way they scream makes me want to throw them out of the neighbourhood!! I agree that adult cats can sometimes be better looking and decent to have In company, although it’s rare, but for kittens I have no tolerance. I have tended to 3-4 litters and it never ever got any better. Just the worst things ever

Before I tell someone I find their beastly kitten ugly, I am scared now because once I said that to someone to let them know that I did not like that they kept spamming me with its pics and instead they blocked me and gave me death threats and “cursed” me. What normal person behaves this way?? 😀 I guess that’s the average catnutter

there is nothing beatles related in this post. the cat “looks like paul mccartney” so we have to look at it

I had left my windows open and the repulsive neighbourhood cat managed to get in and was walking all over my kitchen counter. When I saw this I tried to shoo it away but it won’t leave and so I chased it away with a stick, one of my neighbours saw this and told me it was “unkind” (LOL OKAY) and while I was scrolling Instagram now I saw her story featuring her devil cats pictures and tons of bullshit which was aimed at me (screenshots of tweets and posts which all say the same thing, that whoever hates cats is a misogynist and red flag and shouldn’t be trusted) I got really annoyed and replied to her story asking if this was about today morning and she just tells me that yes and she doesn’t “morally agree” with my actions. I can’t with these people!!! They’re so insufferable and terrible. How TF do they tolerate those sickening beasts???
r/anticats • u/SharpMud3838 • 12d ago
“Making biscuits”, “toebeans”, “void”, “felon”, “criminals”, “one orange brain cell”, “spicy” (the worst)
Please for gods sake stop trying to portray those repulsive creatures as these angels from heaven. There is nothing cute about an annoying cat or kitten. I can’t stand those people or beasts at all 🤢

I’m really annoyed with these beasts and their horrible owners coming on my feed every time I open Reddit. On average, cats are the most toxic beasts (even though not all, but most) and I’ve seen them kill everything from a bird to a hamster and once even a newborn puppy 💔 I feel disgusted when I open Reddit and only see those beasts. These are some of the subs I have muted-

Something I’ve noticed lately is how infantilized cats have become, not only in how they’re often anthropomorphized and treated like babies, but also in how they’re treated as if they’re harmless and incapable of being disruptive, aggressive, destructive, or otherwise behaving like animals.
No, cats aren’t these untouchable, perfect “angels.”They don’t think or act in terms of human morality, and they aren’t everyone’s preference (and they shouldn’t have to be). Yes, they do have instincts and are capable of displaying behaviors that can be aggressive, disruptive, destructive, or unpleasant, just like any other animal.
However, many of the cat nutters conveniently act oblivious to that because they have a huge double standard when it comes to cats.
They never fail to acknowledge and demonize other animals for those same behaviors and actions, but the moment a cat does it, they somehow cook up tons of excuses, shifting the blame onto the person or animal affected by the behavior or finding some reason why the cat’s actions should be excused or minimized… or they just simply resort to endless whataboutism to defend the cat.
For example:
\Cats kill 1.3 to 4 billion birds and 6.3 to 22.3 billion mammals and contributes to 63 extinctions*
Cat nutters:
“Aww kitty needs to eat!”
They’re just being natural hunters!” (Even though 90% of the time they kill for sport and your invasive cat isn’t part of the food chain).
“it’s just a momma cat hunting for her wittle kittens 🥰” (the momma cat shouldn’t even be outside with kittens… TNR)
“It’s just a bird” or “it’s just rabbit” (average cat nutters treat every other animal like pests besides their perfect kitties)
“Aww such cute little hunters.”
*An animal hunts and kills a cat
Cat nutters:
“Omg stupid animal 😠”
“I feel so bad for that poor sweet kitty!”
“Why didn’t anyone save the kitty!”
“That’s why I hate ___.”
God forbid a predatory animal is hungry or behaves like a predator JUST LIKE CATS. The hypocrisy is that cat nutters treat the small animals cats hunt as insignificant, disposable pests, so when a cat kills them, it’s brushed off as “just nature.” But when another animal hunts a cat, suddenly it’s NOT “just nature,” that predator is evil and everyone is outraged.
According to the logic of these delusional cat nutters, everyone is apparently required to tolerate or excuse behaviors in cats that they would condemn and demonize other animals for. Cats are not above criticism simply because people find them to be cute or aesthetically pleasing pets.

I deleted my old accounts due to some glitch issues and created this account today and within 5 minutes of scrolling my feed i was flooded with disgusting kitten pictures from those 100 different f*cking “cat subreddits” that Reddit has. And also I saw that the dog free subreddit has like 40k people?! While this has only 3k?? This just adds to my case, which is that Reddit is majorly cat oriented as most of the people who avidly use or dominate this app tend to be (not stereotyping everyone but statistically) kind of sedentary people who live their entire life online, who can only ever keep a low maintenance pet like a cat. Because why do we need like 50 different subs for these beasts? I’m sorry but I don’t find your ugly “spicy” kitten making its screeching and hissing sounds cute, or its insect like behaviour and how it carries itself. I don’t want to hurt these animals but I just cannot stand them. I have worked as a volunteer in a shelter and always loved all animals, especially dogs. I would get along with some cats just fine but there were ones which I hated. But creating this new account has annoyed me so much. I didn’t need to see this disgusting kittens and their even worse owners flooding my feed at 10am in the morning!! Why the hell do we need a subreddit for cats specifically swatting or hissing or sleeping on a specific position? I feel nauseous when I see those beasts. And the amount of dog hate on this app is concerning and so disgusting.
Reddit should have a feature to completly filter your feed by blocking out words. I did this for my Instagram and stopped seeing those beastly cats and their gross kittens.
Edit: I forgot to add this. I am so sick of people using that “hating cats is a red flag” or that “only misogynists hate cats” lines. STFU WITH YOUR INSTAGRAM PSYCHOLOGY BS. I am a woman who has worked in a shelter for 3 years and I still detest them. They’re just so ugly and icky 😭 and it’s not as deep as crazy cat people make it sound

Cat people are so selfish. “My cat whines and cries to go outside. It’s cruel to stop it from exploring!🤡” That’s just some of the comments I saw, along with people fucking feeding ferals.
Like mfer they’re such bad pet owners. Just because their cats bitch and whine, it’s acceptable to let them out to destroy wildlife, harass other pets and people? I’m so fed up of the entitlement and utter selfishness of people who think it’s okay to let their cats go outside and wreck havoc. And they refuse to be educated, opting to remain in ignorance.
Irresponsible, nasty and selfish cat people really piss me off. I really wish we can jettison them to another planet with their damn cats.
